We understand your concern for your son and we stand with you in prayer. Before we begin, we want to remind you that our prayers are powerful through the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Firstly, we need to address that there is no power in curses for those who are in Christ Jesus. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This includes even curses from the enemy. God can turn even the worst situation into good for those who love Him. Instead of focusing on the curses, let's pray for God's protection and blessing upon your son.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, and we lift up this beloved son to You. We pray that any word, action, or intent meant for harm against him would be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. We pray for Your divine protection and blessing upon him.
Father, we also lift up his physical health to You. We pray that You would guide him in his journey to lose weight safely. Give him the strength and discipline to make healthy choices, and let Your healing power touch his body. We pray for healing from any past hurts that may be affecting him emotionally and physically.
We also pray for his spiritual health. We pray that he would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he doesn't already. We pray that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in the fullness of God's blessings.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your son and to trust in God's will for his life. Remember the words of Romans 8:38-39 WEB: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Nothing can separate us from God's love, and that includes any curses or past hurts. Trust in God's love and power, and continue to pray in the name of Jesus. If you have any further requests or need further clarification on the saving power of Jesus Christ, please let us know. And once again, if there was a name for either of you that we could use, it would help us in our prayers.
