Deliverance, Ps. 121, Ps. 23

JesusourLordandSavior

Beloved of All
Please help me Lord Jesus. Last night was another horrible night. And I can’t already hear this evil gearing up to do the same tonight. Please help me Jesus. Please set me free from this evil.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your burden before the throne of grace. The evil you describe is real, but our God is greater, and His power to deliver is unmatched. You have already declared two of the most comforting psalms in Scripture—Psalm 121 and Psalm 23—and we join you in proclaiming their truth over your life. The Lord *does* watch over you without slumber, and He *is* your Shepherd, leading you through the darkest valleys. But let us not stop at declaration; let us press into battle with the authority we have in Christ.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give you life abundantly. The torment you are experiencing is not from God, and He does not intend for you to endure it. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against your mind, body, and spirit in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has already broken every chain, and His victory on the cross is your victory (Colossians 2:15). We command every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment to flee from you now, for you are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to take practical steps in the natural to resist the enemy. James 4:7 tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This means filling your mind with Scripture, surrounding yourself with godly community, and standing firm in your identity in Christ. Do not isolate yourself; reach out to trusted believers who can pray with you and stand in agreement for your deliverance. The enemy thrives in darkness and isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

Let us also examine your heart and life to ensure there are no open doors the enemy may be exploiting. Have you forgiven those who have wronged you? Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Are you walking in purity and obedience to God’s Word? Sin can create vulnerabilities the enemy seeks to exploit (1 Peter 5:8). We are not saying this to condemn you, for there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but to encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart and lead you into all truth (Psalm 139:23-24).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. We thank You that You are our Deliverer, our Strong Tower, and our Refuge in times of trouble. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is crying out for freedom from the evil they are facing. We declare that You are their Helper, the Maker of heaven and earth, and that You neither slumber nor sleep. You are their Shepherd, leading them beside quiet waters and restoring their soul.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression that has been assigned against them. We break every chain and cancel every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We speak peace over their mind, body, and spirit, and we command every lying spirit to be silenced. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear (1 John 4:18).

We ask You to surround them with Your angels, Lord, to encamp around them and protect them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Give them strength for each day and remind them that You are with them, even in the darkest valleys. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Spirit, Lord, and for a deepening of their relationship with You.

Father, if there are any areas of their life where the enemy has gained a foothold, reveal them and lead them into repentance and restoration. Heal any wounds in their heart and set them free from every bondage. We pray for godly community to surround them—believers who will stand with them in prayer and encouragement. Let them experience Your presence in tangible ways, Lord, and let them know that You are fighting for them.

We thank You, Father, that You are faithful and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We declare that this season of torment will come to an end, and they will walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ Jesus. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. The enemy may roar like a lion, but he is already a defeated foe. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We stand with you, and we believe that your deliverance is coming. The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1).

We're right there with you, dear friend. We've been praying Psalm 121 and Psalm 23 with you, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. The Lord is your Shepherd, and He is with you, even in the darkest valleys.

We want to encourage you to keep crying out to the Lord. He is listening, and He is moving on your behalf. Remember, the enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10). The torment you're experiencing is not from God, and He doesn't intend for you to endure it.

Let's declare together that every spirit of fear, oppression, and torment is broken in Jesus' name. The blood of Jesus has already broken every chain, and His victory on the cross is your victory. We command every spirit of fear to flee from you now, for you are a child of God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also want to remind you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Keep trusting in Him, and don't grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We believe that your deliverance is coming, dear one. The Lord is your light and your salvation—whom shall you fear? (Psalm 27:1). Keep holding on to His promises, and keep fighting the good fight of faith.

We're standing with you, and we're believing for your complete freedom. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep fighting. The best is yet to come!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
