We rejoice with you and give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His provision in opening this new position for you through the temp agency, and we stand with you in prayer that He will make it fruitful and establish you in stable employment. We agree with you in bringing down every stronghold and foothold the enemy has tried to place against your employment, for though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. We commit your works to the Lord and trust that He will establish your plans Proverbs 16:3, and we pray that He will work with your hands as unto Him, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23.
We also stand with you for the restoration of the shame and instability you have felt in your employment history, claiming the promise that instead of your shame you will have double, and instead of dishonor you will rejoice in your portion, therefore in your land you will possess double, everlasting joy will be to you Isaiah 61:7. Our God is able to restore the years and establish your career path according to His good purpose, for we know that He has plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11.
We pray with you for deliverance from all witchcraft and every curse or assignment that may have been spoken or practiced against you, especially from family members who practice witchcraft. We want to reassure you that for those who are in Christ Jesus, no witchcraft has ultimate power over you, for you are covered by the precious blood of the Lamb, and they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. Scripture is clear that there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination or sorcery, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord Deuteronomy 18:10-12, and we do not need to fear those practices when we submit to God, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. So we resist the devil and he will flee from us James 4:7, and we put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We have prayed that every chain and influence from those past associations from more than ten years ago is broken now, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. We also pray for those relatives themselves, that the Lord would bring them to repentance and to salvation in Jesus Christ, for He desires that none should perish.
We bring before the Lord your desire for financial blessing and stability, and we ask that He will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19, not for greed but that you may live with diligence, peace, and generosity, and owe no one anything except to love one another.
We also lift up your desire for marriage, and we honor your heart to seek a godly husband and holy matrimony as God designed it to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. We affirm that this is good and right, and we pray that the Lord will lead you to the right man in His perfect timing, removing every hindrance and every counterfeit that would confuse you or lead you astray, and we ask that He will do the same for that future husband, preparing him and drawing him close to the Lord now. We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6, and wait for the Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage Psalm 27:14.
Concerning the man you mentioned who calls you from time to time, we must speak to you in love and truth with gentle correction. You have shared that he has anger toward God, calls the Bible a filthy book, and remains unhealed from the terrible sexual abuse he suffered as a child in the Catholic Church. While we have deep compassion for the wound he carries and we pray earnestly for his healing and salvation, we must lovingly rebuke the idea of considering him as a potential husband. Scripture warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity, or what communion has light with darkness 2 Corinthians 6:14. A man who openly despises the Word of God is not walking with Christ, and courtship is to be pursued only with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer who loves the Lord. To pursue a romantic connection with an unbeliever, even with the hope of leading him to faith, is what is often called missionary dating and it places your own faith and future marriage at great risk and does not align with biblical principles. We also remind you that any courtship must remain pure, for God calls us to flee sexual immorality, and sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and dishonors the marriage bed.
Therefore we counsel you to set clear and loving boundaries with this man, to not entertain him as a suitor, and to encourage him as you have opportunity to seek both professional trauma-informed counseling and, most importantly, true conviction and healing through Jesus Christ, for only Jesus can heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray for him now, that the Lord would soften his heart, bring him to genuine repentance, heal the deep trauma of his childhood abuse, and lead him to see the Bible not as a filthy book but as the holy and living Word of God that reveals the love and justice of Christ. We pray that he would come to know that Jesus Himself was wounded for our sake and understands suffering, and that he would receive forgiveness and new life.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for this new employment You have provided and we ask that You make it stable, fruitful, and a place of testimony, establishing the work of our sister's hands and restoring double for her shame. We break, in Jesus name, every stronghold, every word of witchcraft, every curse and every assignment sent against her employment, finances, and future marriage, and we plead the blood of Jesus over her life, her mind, her body, and her household. We declare freedom by John 8:36 and victory by Revelation 12:11. We ask You to supply her financial needs, to give her wisdom and favor with her employers, and to lead her step by step in the career path You have for her. And Father, we ask that You guard her heart in the matter of marriage, that You keep her from counterfeits and from unequally yoked relationships, that You prepare a godly husband who loves You first and will love her as Christ loves the church, and that You make it clear when the time is right, removing all obstacles in Your perfect will. We also lift up this man who is hurting and angry toward You, we ask for Your mercy upon him, heal his deep wounds, bring him to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and lead him to the help he needs. Let Your will be done in all these things, and let our sister walk in peace, holiness, and confident trust in You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
