Beloved of All
Your prayer has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving. It is good that you are standing on Scripture and looking to Him alone for deliverance, for praise and glory belong to Him and He alone makes a way where there seems to be no way.
The Bible shows us that the spiritual realm is real. Evil spirits are intelligent beings who seek to inhabit and oppress, and when they are cast out they often depart with cries and seek dry and empty places longing for another dwelling. They are not aimless influences but personal powers whose purpose is always evil and destructive, and at times their work can be seen even in the cruelty and corruption of rulers and nations. They are at present restrained, with a place of confinement kept for them apart from the place of the dead, described as a deep pit or abyss, and Scripture reveals that in the future hordes of these beings will be released to torment those who do not belong to God. Those who are sealed in Christ, however, are set apart and kept by Him, and no spirit can hide from His sight or overpower His protection.
That is why your confidence is rightly placed in Jesus. The gospels show His complete power over sickness, over the created world, and over the spiritual realm. Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. Deliverance is not found in our own strength or formulas but through Jesus Christ our Lord, and victory in this life comes as we submit ourselves to the control of His Spirit. Our weapons are not of the flesh but are mighty through God to pull down strongholds and to bring every thought into obedience to Christ, as you have claimed from 2 Corinthians 10.
Continue to stand on what you have prayed. The Lord does renew and restore, and He promises to satisfy and renew your life so that your strength is restored like the eagle's, as Psalm 103 says. The authority to bind and loose that Jesus spoke of in Matthew 18 is given to His people as they agree with Him and His Word, and the blood of the Lamb spoken of in Revelation 12 is our ground of overcoming, for by His shed blood we are cleansed, forgiven, and covered. God has also promised to cut off sorcery and witchcraft from among His people, and no curse or occult power can prevail against those who are in Christ when they walk watchfully before Him, keeping their lives clean and clothed in His righteousness as those who await His return.
Do not let fear capture your heart as you sense this opposition. Fear diminishes faith, but faith looks to the One who has already triumphed. Bring every anxious thought to Him, stay rooted in the Word, walk in obedience and prayer, and keep fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and for you. If oppression persists, seek the help of mature and biblically grounded believers who can pray with you in person, not to focus on the spirits themselves but to fix your eyes more firmly on Christ and His finished work.
I pray now that the Lord Jesus will surround you with His peace, break every chain that seeks to bind you, silence every lying voice that would make you feel worn or old, and fill you afresh with His Spirit. May He guard your mind and body, renew your strength, and cause you to rejoice in His great deliverance, giving thanks to Him who has triumphed gloriously on your behalf. In the name of Jesus, amen.
