Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you lift off of me all offensive words off of me, insults, and gaslighting words spoken over me by my ### meant to make me doubt in myself and tear down my self esteem, standing on John 8:36. I bind off of me any transfer of spirits coming to me from my ###, standing on Matthew 18:18. I ask Lord Jesus that you bring down all strongholds of footholds of offense of unforgiveness over me by my ###, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in this deliverance prayer and we thank you for calling upon the name of Lord Jesus Christ, for it is in His name alone that we have authority and access to the Father.

We stand in agreement with you that the power of hurtful words and manipulation must be broken. The tongue has great influence, for Proverbs 18:21 says Death and life are in the power of the tongue, those who love it will eat its fruit, but the Word of God is more powerful than any insult or gaslighting spoken over you. We declare with you John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. You are not defined by the demeaning words spoken by the one you mentioned, you are fearfully and wonderfully made as Psalm 139:14 says, and your true identity and esteem are found in Christ alone, not in how others have tried to make you doubt yourself. Isaiah 54:17 reminds us, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants.

We also agree with you concerning spiritual authority and strongholds. Matthew 18:18 says Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven, and we exercise that authority in Christ not by our own power but by His. And 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 teaches us for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We also stand on Revelation 12:11 which says They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. The precious blood of Jesus does indeed cover and protect you.

We gently encourage you as God brings down these footholds of offense, to also release forgiveness toward the one who has spoken against you. Holding onto unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold, but Ephesians 4:32 says And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Forgiveness does not excuse the hurtful behavior, it frees you to walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you and guards your heart from bitterness. We encourage you to daily renew your mind with truth and to speak God's Word over yourself, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

We pray together with you now. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we lift up our dear one to You. We thank You that You are our deliverer and our shield. We ask that You lift off every offensive word, every insult and every gaslighting word spoken over them that was meant to tear down and cause doubt. We bind and break off any transfer or oppression of the enemy coming against them and we declare it has no authority over them because they belong to You. Lord, bring down every stronghold and foothold of offense and unforgiveness, and heal every wound in their heart and mind. Wash them and cover them anew with the precious blood of Jesus. Fill them with Your peace, restore their confidence in who they are in Christ, and let them walk in true freedom as Your son or daughter, free indeed. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to walk in love and soundness of mind. We declare Your truth over them and we thank You for victory, for You have already overcome. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer so honestly. We hear how worn down you feel by repeated insults and words meant to make you doubt yourself. When demeaning words come over and over they can cut deeply and slowly wear away confidence and self worth, and it makes sense you would bring this to Jesus and ask for freedom and healing.

We are grateful you are turning to Him to find what is true about you. It can help to have one safe person who can walk with you steadily as you sort through what was spoken over you and what is true. If you have a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselor, consider inviting them to hear your story over time, not just once. Having another calm, biblical voice alongside you can make it easier to recognize patterns, hold onto clarity when gaslighting leaves you questioning yourself, and pray with you for wisdom about boundaries and next steps going forward. If you ever feel unsafe, please reach out right away to a trusted person near you for support.

We are praying with you.

Jesus, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your protection and peace to rest on them. Heal the wounds left by harsh words and restore a steady sense of dignity and worth in You. Quiet the lies that have been spoken over them and help them hear Your voice more clearly. Give wisdom for each relationship and each next step, and surround them with safe, caring support. In Your name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard, and it is a good and right thing to bring the wounds of cruel words and the heaviness of an unforgiving spirit to the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is the Deliverer.

The Scripture you have stood upon is true. If the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed, John 8:36. Yet remember what we have often taught, that deliverance from the power of sin, and from the sting of sin in others, is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, for as we are justified through Jesus Christ, we must also expect to receive our healing and our peace from a heavenly source alone. He must bring you forth. You can do nothing and He knows it, and therefore your deliverance must be of Free Grace only.

There is such a thing as sickness of the soul which is far worse than disease of body, when insult and gaslighting and contempt have been spoken over you until you doubt your own soul. Blessed be His name, there is such a thing as recovery from soul sickness even to those who appear to be going down into the pit. God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. So it is a gift of Divine Love. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. That ransom is the precious blood of the Lamb, by which we overcome, Revelation 12:11.

You ask rightly that strongholds should be brought down, for though we walk in the flesh we do not war after the flesh, and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. The stronghold of offense and unforgiveness is not cast down by binding words alone, but by looking to Christ and learning to forgive as we have been forgiven. To retain offense is to keep yourself in bonds. To loose it by forgiveness in Christ's name is to walk in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free, Matthew 18:18.

Therefore let us pray together for that true deliverance which is effectual and attended with enrichment.

O Lord our God, who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Your dear Son, look upon this wounded one. You know the insults spoken, the words meant to tear down and to make the heart doubt. Let those words fall powerless to the ground, for Your word alone shall stand over Your child. We ask that You would lift from this soul every lie that has been received, and speak Your truth in its place, that this one is accepted in the Beloved, not in the esteem of man.

Grant a true pulling down of every stronghold of offense and unforgiveness. Teach this heart to forgive, not in its own strength, but as one who has been forgiven much. Cover this prayer and this life with the precious blood of Jesus, Your found ransom, and let the accuser be overcome. Make this deliverance sure, for You bring Your people forth with Your own hand.

And after this affliction, let this tried one live and declare the works of the Lord, Psalm 118:17. Give grace to dwell much in Your Word, to seek peace within Your borders, and to walk in holiness before You, looking to Jesus Christ alone for all justification and all sanctification.

We ask this not because we are worthy, but because You have found a ransom, and because Christ has promised freedom indeed to those whom He sets free. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.
