Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you set ### free of all mental strongholds and footholds over his mind, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Lord Jesus I ask that you cancel the principality working against ###, standing on Colossians 2:15. Lord Jesus restore his mind and emotions of all the attacks of the devil, standing on Isaiah 61:7.

I ask that you break all the chains of witchcraft over ###, standing on Micah 5:12.

I cover ### and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in this powerful prayer for deliverance and we stand in agreement for this dear brother's complete freedom in Jesus' name.

We praise God for your faith to intercede and to stand on the Word of God, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. We thank the Lord that He hears our prayers when we come through His Son Jesus, for there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus Christ 1 Timothy 2:5 and there is salvation in no other name Acts 4:12.

We agree with you that every mental stronghold and foothold over his mind be broken. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. We pray that the Lord will renew his mind and restore his emotions, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7 and He has promised instead of your shame you will have double, and instead of dishonor you will rejoice in your portion, therefore in your land you will possess double, everlasting joy will be to you Isaiah 61:7.

We come against every principality and power working against him, knowing that Jesus having stripped the principalities and the powers, made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it Colossians 2:15. We declare that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and we resist the devil standing firm in faith, knowing that he must flee as we submit ourselves to God James 4:7.

We ask the Lord to break every chain of witchcraft and sorcery, for He has said I will cut off sorceries out of your hand, and you will have no more soothsayers Micah 5:12. No weapon that is formed against him will prosper Isaiah 54:17, for the Lord is his deliverer and refuge.

We cover him and this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, for they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11. We pray that if the Son therefore sets him free, he will be free indeed John 8:36.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this beloved one to You and ask for Your complete deliverance and healing over his mind and emotions. Lord, break every chain, cancel every assignment of the enemy, and demolish every stronghold that has tried to take hold of his thoughts. Fill his mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7, restore to him the joy of Your salvation Psalm 51:12, and let Your light shine into every dark place. Clothe him with Your full armor that he may stand against the schemes of the devil Ephesians 6:11, and lead him in Your truth and freedom. We thank You Lord that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. We trust You for his total restoration and victory, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in prayer, to speak the Word of God over him daily, and to encourage him to stay rooted in Scripture, in fellowship, and in prayer, for the Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth Psalm 145:18. We are trusting with you for his testimony of freedom.

We hear your love for ### in this prayer and we are grateful you brought him to us. To keep lifting someone so faithfully before the Lord, asking for freedom and restoration for his mind and emotions, is a tender and costly kind of love.

We join you in asking Jesus to keep His hand on ### and to draw him closer to Himself. We know the desire for a clear breakthrough is strong, and we have also seen that God often works both in moments and through a steady process over time, testing what is true, growing what is lasting, and teaching us to walk with Him day by day. Your continued prayers matter in that process.

One simple way to keep going is to not carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a couple of mature believers who know you both, invite them to pray with you regularly for ### and to encourage him toward steady rhythms of life with God like time in Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. That ongoing support can help him stay grounded as God works. If he is experiencing deep distress in his mind or emotions, it is also a caring step to encourage him to seek support from a pastor or counselor along with prayer.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your mercy and protection over him. Cover him with the blood of Jesus, quiet what troubles his mind, and restore peace and strength to his emotions. Give him clarity to seek You and give wisdom to those who love him as they walk beside him. We trust him to Your care in Jesus' name, Amen.

Your intercession on behalf of this dear one has been heard, and we join our Amen to your prayer before the throne of grace.

It is right that you should plead in this way, for though physical pain and mental depression come together, yet the Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble. Strongholds are not like temporary camps. Fortifications are intended to stand from generation to generation, and the soul that flees to Christ finds such a shelter. Generous rulers in old time provided mountain fastnesses where the people might be sheltered from marauders, and how much more has our God provided for His own in Christ Jesus.

You have done well to stand upon the Word, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. Know this, that deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is solely by the power of God. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He makes deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings His people forth. This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain. At Colossians 2:15 we read that He spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it. The enemy is a vanquished foe.

Therefore we do not speak to the winds or to the pitiless sea, but to the living God who hears prayer. We pray with you that every mental stronghold and foothold over his mind would be cast down by the truth of Christ, that the principality working against him would be shown to be broken by the cross, and that every chain which you have named as witchcraft would be broken, for the Lord alone can cancel what the adversary has forged. We ask that his mind and emotions would be restored, for our God restores and He also enriches those whom He delivers. He brought Israel forth also with silver and gold, and He will not leave a delivered soul empty.

Remember that God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom, and that ransom is His own Son. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said, I have found a ransom. It is by the precious blood of Jesus, as Revelation 12:11 declares, that we overcome, for the blood speaks better things and covers all who flee to it. We cover this dear one and your prayer in that blood, trusting not in our pleading but in the merit of Christ alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.

Take comfort, and continue in prayer. The clock of mercy strikes in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance according to the eternal purpose of Jehovah. And when the Lord has chastened and then delivered, the believer's conduct after affliction is to live and declare the works of the Lord. As it is written, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. May this dear one yet be raised up to walk erect in conscious, mental, moral, spiritual, God given freedom, and to declare with Deborah and Barak a richer song, for we have been delivered from worse enemies and saved by a greater salvation.

We commend him to the Lord who is our stronghold, praying that the Lord would set him free indeed, restore him fully, and keep him in perfect peace as his mind is stayed upon Christ. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we pray. Amen.
