Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which ### is being used by Satan against anyone, standing on Zechariah 3:2. With his flattering ways offering drugs to people and trying to charm them in to things like Xanax, lord scatter his plans, standing on Exodus 23:27. I ask that you bring down all strongholds and footholds that ### has over anyone, standing on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. I ask Lord Jesus that you restore anyone that ### attacked, standing on Isaiah 61:7.

Lord Jesus I ask that you set everyone free that needs to be set free from ###, standing on John 8:36.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in this deliverance prayer and we stand in agreement with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil.

We praise and glorify our Lord Jesus with you, and we affirm the scriptures you have stood upon. We declare with you Zechariah 3:2, Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Satan. Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. We ask the Lord Himself to rebuke every scheme of the enemy working through this individual, especially his flattering speech and the enticement to use drugs like Xanax to ensnare and harm others. The enemy comes as a deceiver and we are not ignorant of his devices, for 1 Peter 5:8 tells us your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. We pray that the Lord will scatter and confuse every plan of darkness, standing on Exodus 23:27, I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come. Let every trap laid through charm, flattery, and the offering of drugs be exposed and brought to nothing.

We also agree that every stronghold and foothold must come down, for 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 reminds us that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We pray that any influence, addiction, or spiritual bondage tied to this person and his actions be demolished by the power of Christ. Where drugs have been used to cloud minds and bind people, we remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to be sober minded, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches and 1 Peter 1:13 calls us to be sober and set our hope fully on the grace that will be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ. This misuse of drugs is not harmless, it is a tool of bondage and we rebuke it.

We pray for full restoration for everyone who has been attacked, wounded, or led astray, standing on Isaiah 61:7, Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them. And we claim the promise of true freedom in John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. We pray that the Lord covers His people with the blood of Jesus, for Revelation 12:11 declares They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace. We rebuke Satan and every demonic assignment operating through this individual to offer drugs, to flatter, to charm and to lead people into captivity. Lord, scatter those plans and bring them to confusion. Tear down every stronghold, addiction, deception and foothold that has been built up, and set the captives free. We ask You to heal and restore double for all who have been harmed, to deliver them from dependency and deception, and to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with soundness of mind and self control. We submit ourselves to You and resist the devil, believing James 4:7 that he will flee from us, and we declare 1 John 4:4 that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We cover this prayer and every person affected with the precious blood of Jesus and we ask for Your protection, conviction that leads to repentance, and complete deliverance. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray, amen.

We are grateful for your faithful intercession and the love that comes through in this prayer. It is a heavy thing to watch someone use charm and influence to draw others toward drugs, and to carry concern for those who may be vulnerable. Bringing that to Jesus as you have is a caring and right response.

We join you in asking the Lord to break the hold of these patterns and to bring protection, clarity and freedom to everyone affected. We also hold before Him the deep need for healing and restoration for those who have been hurt, and wisdom for you as you continue to stand in the gap.

One steady next step that often helps alongside prayer is to stay connected with trusted support. If you know individuals who are struggling with substance use, gently encouraging them toward a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a local recovery support group can give them practical help along with spiritual care. For concerns about drug distribution, it is wisest not to confront alone but to seek guidance from a pastor or another trusted leader about safe and appropriate steps, and to encourage professional help for those facing addiction.

Father, we lift to You everyone touched by this situation. Cover them with Your mercy, guard them from harm, and lead them into freedom and wholeness in Christ. Give wisdom, courage and peace to our friend as they continue to pray and care. In Jesus name, amen.

We join with you in this earnest cry for deliverance and thank you for bringing this burden before the throne of grace. Your prayer rightly looks not to man but to the Lord Jesus Christ alone, for deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. No man can break his own chains, nor can any hasty word or mere human sympathy set the captive free. It is the Lord who must bring forth His people out of bondage, and He does so with a mighty hand.

We are reminded that God is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, yet in His love He has not only invented the way but has found the ransom Himself in the precious blood of His own Son. That blood is our strong tower and our stronghold in the day of trouble. The name of the Lord is a stronghold, and there the righteous may run and be safe, sheltered from every marauder and from the very paw of the lion. He who gave His Son to bear the penalty of our iniquities is able also to save from the fascinating power of sin and from every evil company and snare of the devil.

Therefore we pray with you in the name of Jesus, trusting alone in His finished work.

We ask the Lord to rebuke every work of the enemy, standing on that word, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee. Where flattering words and the offering of drugs such as Xanax have been used to charm and ensnare, we pray that the Lord would scatter those plans and bring them to nothing, for He has promised to confound the designs of the adversary.

We ask that every stronghold and foothold be brought down, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. We pray that the Lord who alone can deliver from the power of darkness would break the chains of addiction and deception and set the captives free, for whom the Son makes free is free indeed.

We ask that those who have been wounded and attacked would know restoration, that in place of shame they would receive the double portion the Lord promises, and that the joy stolen by sin would be restored by His grace. We pray that all who need freedom would find it not in themselves but in Christ, who keeps back the soul from the pit and whose blood overcomes the accuser, for they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb.

May the Lord grant you grace to continue in prayer, to look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this sanctifying deliverance, and to declare the works of the Lord when He brings it to pass. He fills both the bitter cup and the sweet goblet, and even sharp afflictions from His fatherly hand can be made profitable as He refines His people and shows Himself their deliverer.

We cover this prayer in no merit of our own, but only in the precious blood of Jesus, our ransom and our righteousness. In His name we ask that He would be gracious and command deliverance, that souls would not go down to the pit but live and tell of His mercy. Amen.
