Deliverance Prayer

We join you in praising and glorifying the Lord Jesus and we stand with you in prayer for deliverance and protection. We hear the distress in your request concerning severe witchcraft and we take this seriously, for Scripture is clear that witchcraft is real and is an abomination before God, yet we also know that no power of darkness can prevail against those who are in Christ Jesus.
As you have stood on Micah 5:12, we agree with you that God will destroy witchcrafts out of the hand and that soothsayers will have no power over you. We declare that truth over your life now. The Word tells us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination or sorcery, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. We rebuke every work of witchcraft, every spell, every curse and every assignment of darkness that has been directed against you, and we command it to be broken and rendered powerless in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We remind you of the authority you have in Him. 1 John 4:4 says you are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. Isaiah 54:17 promises no weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Luke 10:19 tells us behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you when you abide in Him. Ephesians 6:11-12 reminds us to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We also lift up your mother before the Lord. While we must not participate in or submit to witchcraft, we are also called to honor our parents and to love those who oppose us. We pray for her deliverance and salvation, that the Lord would open her eyes, bring her to repentance, and draw her out of darkness into His marvelous light. We encourage you to walk in forgiveness and not in hatred, while maintaining wise and godly boundaries, and to overcome evil with good through prayer and truth.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Deliverer. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty as Psalm 91:1 declares. We ask You to cancel, break and destroy every work of witchcraft spoken, sent or practiced over our dear one. Let every chain be broken, every trap be exposed and nullified, and let every evil influence flee. We pray that You would surround this life with Your holy angels, fill this home with Your peace, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear, for 2 Timothy 1:7 says God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We submit this life fully to You, Lord, and we resist the devil according to James 4:7, trusting that he must flee. Cleanse, restore and strengthen, and let Your will be done. Lead this dear one deeper into Your Word, into prayer and fasting, into fellowship with strong believers who can stand in agreement, and let Your Holy Spirit bring complete freedom and healing. We also lift up this mother to You, Lord, have mercy on her, convict her heart, and bring her to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We thank You that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our salvation, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to speak Scripture aloud over yourself, to pray without ceasing, and to put on the whole armor of God each day. Do not fear, for Romans 8:31 assures us if God is for us, who can be against us. The Lord is faithful and He will guard you from the evil one. Remain steadfast in praise and thanksgiving, and trust that the Lord who has begun a good work in you will be faithful to complete it and to keep you in perfect peace as you keep your mind on Him.

Your thanksgiving and praise in the midst of distress are themselves a token of grace at work, and your cry for deliverance has been heard before the throne of mercy.
Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons, and He has not left His people without a way of escape. The Scripture declares, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. He has not only invented the way, but He has found the ransom, and it is a gift of Divine Love in His own Son, who has borne the penalty of all our iniquities. This is your hope against every dark power, that the King's own Son has paid the price, and God has given commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from sin, saved from the devil, saved from all the attacks of the enemy, for God has said it, Deliver him from going down to the Pit.
You speak of witchcraft and stand upon the promise, And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand. Take comfort that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No true liberty comes but by that supernatural power of which Christ makes you free. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for that deliverance. The power that seemed to hold Israel in bondage could not stand against the Lord when He brought forth His people with joy, and so no enchantment or art of man can prevail where the Lord sets His hand to cut it off. Turn from fear of the second cause to faith in the first great Cause, for troubles do not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and He will keep back your soul from the Pit and your life from perishing.
Concerning your mother, the Word teaches us wisely to moderate our anger against second causes. Though afflictions may come distinctly from man, as the result of malice, yet they come with greater certainty from the Lord and may be the necessary outcome of His special love to refine us. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. You are called to honor your mother and yet to cleave to Christ above all, to pray for her soul, to seek her good, and to set a guard of holiness and prayer about your own life, looking to Christ alone for protection and not to any charm or counter art.
Let us pray together. O gracious Father, who has found a ransom for Thy people, be gracious unto this soul who now seeks Thee. Deliver from going down to the Pit, keep back the soul from darkness, and cut off every witchcraft according to Thy word. Let the blood of Thy Son be the covering and the plea. Deliver from the fascinating power of sin and from the power of darkness, and bring forth into liberty and joy. Give grace to forgive and to pray for those who cause distress, and to live in holiness and peace within Thy borders. Grant that being delivered, this life may not die but live and declare the works of the Lord, to the praise of Thy free grace in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Abide in Christ, feed daily upon His Word, walk in prayer, and put away all fellowship with darkness. If fear returns, remember that your help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth, and who has taught you the mischief of loving the world and now tempts you in vain when you cling to Him. He who has delivered will yet deliver, and you shall have cause to sing songs of deliverance for His glory.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving, for He alone is able to deliver from evil and to supply every good gift.
Scripture teaches that Christ came to deliver us from the curse and to bring us into adoption as sons, so that we who have put on Christ have also received the Spirit of adoption. If you belong to Him by faith, you are not left without help or without a Father who hears you. The Lord who delivered His servant from the mouth of the lion is able also to deliver from every evil work, and His keeping is greater than any danger that may press upon you.
The word of God is clear that witchcraft does not come from nature or from the body, but from a depraved moral choice, and those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. The Lord has said that He will cut off sorceries from among His people, as you have rightly remembered from Micah 5:12, and we ask Him to do what only He can do. No power of darkness can overcome those who are in Christ, and we are not to live in fear of it, but in confidence that God can teach us even to despise fear itself and to rest in His care.
So we pray for you now. Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You and glorify Your name. We ask You to cancel every evil intent and every work of darkness directed against Your child, and to cut it off by Your power. Cover this life with Your blood, fill this heart with Your Holy Spirit, and grant peace where there has been turmoil and fear. Let Your presence be a guard day and night, and let Your word dwell richly to give wisdom and strength. Help to walk not by fear but by faith, putting on Christ and living by the Spirit.

There is real pain in what you have shared, and the sense of being oppressed, especially when you feel it is coming from your own mother, is deeply heavy. God sees that burden and He hears you when you call on Him. It is right to bring this to Jesus directly, because He alone is our deliverance and our protection.
Scripture is clear that witchcraft and sorcery are real but they have no ultimate power over the child of God. In Micah 5:12 the Lord promises that He will cut off witchcrafts, and that promise rests on who He is. He is the self existent Creator who made the heavens and the earth. All things were made by Him and remain under His authority, so no spell or work of darkness can stand against His power. The Bible says greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and no weapon formed against you will prosper when you are hidden in Christ.
You did well to call upon the Lord Jesus, for He is worthy to be praised and He saves from enemies. Like David, who often found himself surrounded by those too strong for him, you can testify that God reaches down from above and draws you out of deep waters. David said God delivered him from his strong enemy when he was overpowered, and he learned to keep himself from the paths of the destroyer by holding fast to the word of the Lord. The word that comes from God's own lips is your guard and your guide. Stay rooted in it, speak it, pray it, and let it keep your heart and mind in Christ.
Oppression is disturbing and it can make the heart troubled and weary. God does not take that lightly. He is the righteous Judge who pleads the cause of His people and delivers from deceit and injustice. You cannot flee from His presence, and He will not leave you alone in this struggle. He surrounds you, He is near to you, and He is able to keep you.
Continue to look to Jesus alone for salvation and protection. Do not seek answers in other spiritual powers or methods, but rest in Christ who cleansed us from sin and brought us back into fellowship with God. While you ask for protection for yourself, also ask the Lord to work in your mother's heart. We are called to love even those who may intend harm, and to pray for them that they may come to know the mercy and truth of God. That does not mean you must remain in a place of harm without wise boundaries, but it does mean you can release bitterness and trust God to be your defender.
Let me pray for you now.
Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You that You are Lord over all. We ask in Your name that every work of witchcraft spoken of here would be cut off and made powerless. Standing on Your promise to cut off sorceries, we ask You to cancel every assignment of darkness against Your child and to surround them with Your presence and peace. Cover them with Your blood, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and keep them from the paths of the destroyer through Your word. Bring deliverance from every strong enemy, lift them out of fear and oppression, and give rest to their heart. We also pray for their mother, that You would open her eyes to Your truth, bring conviction where it is needed, and lead her to salvation in Jesus Christ alone. Let Your love and truth reign in this family. We trust You as the One who is mighty to save, and we give You all glory. Amen.
Keep calling upon the Lord daily, remain in His word, and walk in prayer and fellowship with other believers who can support you. He is faithful to keep you and to give you peace as you trust Him.

All things were made by Him and remain under His authority, so no spell or work of darkness can stand against His power. The Bible says greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and no weapon formed against you will prosper when you are hidden in Christ.
You did well to call upon the Lord Jesus, for He is worthy to be praised and He saves from enemies. Like David, who often found himself surrounded by those too strong for him, you can testify that God reaches down from above and draws you out of deep waters. David said God delivered him from his strong enemy when he was overpowered, and he learned to keep himself from the paths of the destroyer by holding fast to the word of the Lord. The word that comes from God's own lips is your guard and your guide. Stay rooted in it, speak it, pray it, and let it keep your heart and mind in Christ.
Oppression is disturbing and it can make the heart troubled and weary. God does not take that lightly. He is the righteous Judge who pleads the cause of His people and delivers from deceit and injustice. You cannot flee from His presence, and He will not leave you alone in this struggle. He surrounds you, He is near to you, and He is able to keep you.
Continue to look to Jesus alone for salvation and protection. Do not seek answers in other spiritual powers or methods, but rest in Christ who cleansed us from sin and brought us back into fellowship with God. While you ask for protection for yourself, also ask the Lord to work in your mother's heart. We are called to love even those who may intend harm, and to pray for them that they may come to know the mercy and truth of God. That does not mean you must remain in a place of harm without wise boundaries, but it does mean you can release bitterness and trust God to be your defender.
Let me pray for you now.
Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You that You are Lord over all. We ask in Your name that every work of witchcraft spoken of here would be cut off and made powerless. Standing on Your promise to cut off sorceries, we ask You to cancel every assignment of darkness against Your child and to surround them with Your presence and peace. Cover them with Your blood, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and keep them from the paths of the destroyer through Your word. Bring deliverance from every strong enemy, lift them out of fear and oppression, and give rest to their heart. We also pray for their mother, that You would open her eyes to Your truth, bring conviction where it is needed, and lead her to salvation in Jesus Christ alone. Let Your love and truth reign in this family. We trust You as the One who is mighty to save, and we give You all glory. Amen.
Keep calling upon the Lord daily, remain in His word, and walk in prayer and fellowship with other believers who can support you. He is faithful to keep you and to give you peace as you trust Him.
