Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that if ### is not a good acquaintance for me that you disconnect us, standing on John 8:36.

I ask you for blessings Lord Jesus in my work, my art, and my school, standing on Proverbs 16:3.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in praising and glorifying our Lord Jesus and we thank Him with you for His goodness and mercy toward you. We agree with you in prayer for deliverance and for God's perfect will to be done in your life and in your relationships.

We love that you are standing on the truth of John 8:36, If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. It is Jesus alone who sets us free from every bondage, every unhealthy tie, and every influence that would pull us away from Him. We also stand with you on Proverbs 16:3, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. What a beautiful promise that as you commit your work, your art, and your school to the Lord, He will establish your steps and bless the work of your hands for His glory.

We pray together for discernment concerning this acquaintance. The Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals, and in Psalm 1:1, Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom, as promised in James 1:5, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. If this acquaintance is not good for you, not edifying, and not drawing you closer to Christ, we agree with you that the Lord will disconnect and remove that influence gently and completely, and guard your heart in His peace. If there is anything He wants you to learn or any way He wants you to be a light, we pray He will make that clear as well. We trust Him to surround you with godly friendships that encourage you in faith and holiness.

We lift up your work, your art, and your school before the Father.

Father in heaven, we praise You and thank You and glorify Your holy name together. We thank You for the freedom we have in Your Son Jesus Christ. We ask in Jesus' name that You would do a complete work of deliverance in our dear one who is praying, that You would sever any ungodly soul tie or unhealthy acquaintance that is not Your will, and that You would fill every place with Your presence and peace. Give clear discernment and a sensitive heart to Your Holy Spirit's leading. We commit this person's work, art, and schooling into Your hands. Anoint their hands and mind, grant them diligence, creativity, excellence, and favor, and establish all their plans according to Your perfect will. Let their art and their studies be a testimony to Your goodness and bring glory to You. Lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake and keep them close to You all the days of their life. In Jesus' name we pray and ask, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to commit each day to the Lord in prayer and in His Word, trusting that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it. He is faithful to guide you and to bless you as you seek Him first.

We're grateful you shared this prayer with us. We hear a heart that wants to walk closely with Jesus and to honor Him in your relationships, your work, your art, and your studies. Asking Him to make clear what is good for you and to lead you in each area is a wise and humble place to be.

It makes sense to bring that acquaintance to Him just as you did. As you keep praying for discernment, it can help to simply notice what happens around that relationship over the next little while, whether time with this person leaves you more at peace and drawn toward what matters to you, or more drained and pulled away from it. Bringing those honest observations back to the Lord and talking them through with a trusted, mature believer can often make His leading clearer.

And we join you in asking for His help and favor in the daily work before you. Committing each part of your day to Him as you begin, your job, your art, your classes, and then taking the next faithful step in front of you is a quiet way to walk that prayer out.

Jesus, we thank You for this dear brother or sister who loves You and wants to follow You. We ask for Your clear leading about this acquaintance, for freedom where it is needed, and for Your hand on their work, art, and school. Give wisdom for each decision and peace in trusting You with the outcome. In Your name we pray, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with thankfulness, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking His wise and gracious hand upon your life.

You have done well to ask the Lord to order your friendships according to His wisdom. To pray, if this acquaintance is not for your good, that He would disconnect you, is to ask for that true deliverance which the Son alone can give, for as it is written, if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. We have seen that deliverance comes when the Lamb was slain, and He makes our deliverance effectual and in every deed He brings us forth. It is not for us to cling to any tie which would hinder our walk with Christ, but to trust Him to smite the enemies that would hold us and to break the teeth of the ungodly that would ensnare us. We pray that the Lord will give you clear discernment, and that if this acquaintance would draw you from holiness or from Christ, He will in mercy divide the path, and if it may be sanctified to your good, He will make it fruitful for His glory. The work of grace is commenced from within, for the Lord says, A new heart also will I give you, and from that new heart flows a changed life where we keep His judgments and do them. May He so work within you that all your relationships are weighed in the light of His Word.

You have also asked for His blessing upon your work, your art, and your school, standing upon that sure promise, Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. This is a right and holy petition. An enlightened man is grateful to God for temporal blessings, but he is much more grateful to God for spiritual blessings, for temporal blessings do not last long, they are soon gone. God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, and these are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring of all blessings. They come not by chance, but from the Divine purpose, according as He has chosen us in Him. Therefore while we ask the Lord to prosper the labour of your hands and the study of your mind, we pray first that He would bless you with all spiritual blessings in Christ, that your work and art and learning may be offered as service to Him and not merely for earthly gain.

So we commit your requests to our faithful God. May He grant you deliverance from all that would harm your soul, and may He establish your steps. While you work, lighten the toil with sacred song and serve God with gladness, rehearsing the great work which Jesus Christ has done for you upon Calvary and which He now does as He stands before the Father's throne.

We pray thus for you: O Lord our God, who has found a ransom and delivered Thy people from the pit, grant to this Thy servant true freedom in Christ. If this acquaintance be not profitable for the soul, in Thy mercy put it far away, and keep this life in the way of holiness. Commit unto Thyself his work, his art, and his school, and establish his thoughts and his hands for Thy glory. Bless him not only with temporal mercies which betoken Thy bounty, but with spiritual blessings which are proofs of Thine eternal love, and make his whole life to show forth that Thou hast brought him forth into a large place because Thou delightest in him. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer is good and right before the Lord, for you begin with praise and thanksgiving and then bring your needs to Him. That is the order of a faithful heart.

I join you in asking the Lord Jesus for true freedom. As it is written, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. True deliverance is first freedom from sin, and then strength to walk in patience and love. If this acquaintance draws you away from what is good or hinders your walk with Christ, pray that the Lord in His wisdom will make that clear and give you the courage to step away. If the relationship can be for good, pray that He will make it pure and helpful. Ask Him to keep you free from anger and heaviness, so that you may not punish yourself by holding onto what harms you, but may benefit your own soul by loving what is right and by choosing what leads to peace.

I also join you in committing your work, your art, and your studies to the Lord, as it is written to commit your work to the Lord and your plans will be established. God delights when we offer our daily labor to Him and seek to bear fruit in every good work and to grow in knowing Him. Continue to do your work faithfully, with diligence and with hope. Hope is confidence in what is to come, and it sustains us while we wait with patience for the Lord to establish our steps. While there is time, make haste to please God and gather spiritual treasure by doing all for His glory.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You and glorify Your name. We thank You that You alone save and that You alone give true freedom. We ask You to work in this life according to Your perfect will. If this acquaintance is not good, give clear discernment and the strength to separate in peace. If it can remain, make it wholesome and honoring to You. Guard this heart from sin and from discouragement. Bless the work of these hands, the art that is created, and the studies that are pursued. Establish each step, grant wisdom, grant diligence, and grant fruit that remains. Teach us to commit all we do to You and to walk in a way that pleases You. In Your name, Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer. It is good that you begin with praise and thanksgiving and with giving glory to Jesus, because blessing God is more than just words of praise, it is a choice of the heart and mind to speak of His greatness and His power and to offer your life to Him.

You asked about freedom and about being disconnected from an acquaintance if that relationship is not good for you, standing on John 8:36. That verse teaches that true freedom comes only through the Son, and when He sets you free you are truly free. That freedom is not something you earn by trying harder or by keeping a set of rules, for the law itself cannot bring blessing. Your freedom and your blessing rest on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross and on the promises God has made to those who trust in Him through faith. That work is complete, and you are invited to rest in it, trusting Him rather than your own efforts. As you do, submit to the way He is working in you, even when He is shaping your character in ways you do not fully understand, because He first works in you so that He can then work through you.

It also helps to remember that at the center of every other relationship is your relationship with God. When that relationship is right and you are walking closely with Him, other relationships tend to come into proper balance. When a friendship or acquaintance is pulling you away from Him or causing confusion, it is wise to ask Him for discernment as you have done. God will accomplish His purposes, and He will guide you to see what relationships help you follow Him and which ones do not. Continue to commit that situation to Him and ask for His wisdom to make the separation clear if it is needed, trusting that He will lead you.

You also asked for blessing on your work, your art, and your school, standing on Proverbs 16:3. That proverb calls you to commit what you do to the Lord and to trust Him to establish your plans. The blessing God promised, first shown in His promise to Abraham and now opened to all who believe through Jesus, comes to you by faith, not by your performance. In blessing He will bless those who trust Him. So bring your work, your art, and your studies to Him each day, do them faithfully as unto Him, and depend on His finished work rather than on your own striving. The lack of blessing is not simply a lack of effort, but a lack of trusting Him to do what He has promised.

Praying for you that you will know more deeply the freedom Jesus gives, that you will have clear discernment about this acquaintance and peace in whatever direction God leads, and that as you commit your work, your art, and your school to the Lord, you will experience His guidance and His blessing established in your life. May you rest in what Christ has already done for you and walk in the confidence of His promises. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have been standing in agreement with you as you praised and glorified the Lord Jesus and brought your requests before Him. We have lifted up your prayer for deliverance regarding the acquaintance you mentioned, that the Lord would disconnect you if that relationship is not good for you, standing on John 8:36, and we have joined you in asking for His blessings upon your work, your art and your school, standing on Proverbs 16:3.

We continue to pray that the Lord will grant you discernment and peace, that He will set you free indeed and guide your steps, and that He will establish the work of your hands as you commit all you do to Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how God has moved in this relationship and in your work, art and school. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray together that God will make His will clear to you, protect you from what is not of Him, and pour out His favor and wisdom over your studies and the works of your hands. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
