Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I searched the below hoping you can guide lead me into how to have a complete separation from my brother for me and my son,

Asking God to root someone out of your life involves honest, purposeful prayer, aligning your request with spiritual wisdom, and preparing yourself to take practical steps.
    • Be radically honest about the fruit and impact. Bring your specific concerns, hurt, or confusion to God without masking your feelings. Acknowledge why this relationship compromises your peace, mental health, or spiritual walk (Proverbs 4:23).
    • Ask for discernment and truth-revealing vision. Pray that God exposes hidden motives, clears away any self-deception or rose-colored glasses on your part, and shows you the reality of the dynamic.
    • Request divine intervention and closed doors. Explicitly ask God to gracefully move the person away, dissolve unhealthy soul ties, and close any relational doors that He did not open.
    • Pray for the strength to set boundaries and let go. Ask for the courage to stop reaching out, to resist the temptation to return to a familiar dynamic, and to accept the discomfort of the separation.
    • Surrender the "how" and trust His timing. Accept that God’s method of removing someone might look like a fading connection, a sudden natural separation, or circumstances beyond your control, and trust that it is for your protection.

Lord Jesus my brother is extremely emotionally abusing and sits like a pimp in the home not ever doing anything productive but just trying to frustrate our efforts a d saying he goes to a hospital job. Help Lord Jesus, he also has acted like a pedophile with my son, I ask that you expose this to people that have will to set me and my son free from him if it is true, standing on Luke 8:17.

I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11.

In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We hear your cry and we join with you in seeking the Lord Jesus for deliverance, protection, and wisdom for you and your son. We praise God that you have come to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood that we are saved and overcome. As it is written, They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. Revelation 12:11 and Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 We thank Him that you are standing on His promises and covering your household in prayer.

We want to speak clearly and with love about what you have shared. What you describe concerning your brother, his emotional abuse, his idleness and frustration of your efforts in the home, and especially his actions toward your son that you fear are pedophilic, are very serious and are not aligned with God's will. Scripture strongly rebukes such behavior. The Lord calls us to protect children, and Jesus gave a solemn warning, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6 Idleness that burdens others and abusive speech that tears down a household are also sin before God, and we do not take them lightly. We also affirm your desire for separation and boundaries. While God calls us to love and to forgive, forgiveness does not mean remaining in a household where there is abuse or danger, and Scripture teaches us to guard our hearts and to turn away from evil. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23 A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it. Proverbs 22:3 Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33

We take to heart your prayer that God would expose what is hidden, standing on the promise that For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17 We agree with you that the truth must come to light, especially for the sake of your son. God's Word commands us to Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82:4 and to protect the vulnerable. If your son has been or may be harmed or groomed in any sexual way, we urge you in love to take immediate practical steps alongside prayer. Please do not walk through this alone. We encourage you to reach out right away to a trusted pastor, a godly counselor, and to the proper authorities who are ordained by God to protect, for he is a servant of God to you for good. Romans 13:4 This may mean contacting law enforcement or child protective services, documenting what you have observed, and making a safety plan to create physical separation from your brother as quickly as possible, whether through family, church support, or safe housing resources. Your son's safety must be the first priority, and God will give you wisdom as you ask Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. James 1:5

We also hear your exhaustion from living with someone who does not contribute and who emotionally abuses you. The Lord sees your frustration and your labor to provide for your child. He is near to you in this. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 We pray with you for discernment to see the dynamic clearly without self deception, for closed doors where God has not opened a door, and for courage to set and maintain firm boundaries and not return to a familiar but harmful pattern. We pray you will be able to surrender the how and the timing to Him while still taking obedient action, trusting that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3

We lift you and your son before the throne together now.

Heavenly Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come to You on behalf of our sister and her son. Lord, You see the pain, the emotional abuse, the fear, and the burden they carry in this home. We ask You to be their refuge and fortress, their shelter and defender. We pray that You will expose every hidden thing and bring all truth into the light, and that You will raise up righteous people with authority and compassion who will intervene and set them free from this oppressive situation if these harmful actions toward this child are true. Lord, rescue the weak and needy and deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. Place a hedge of protection around this mother and her son and guard them from the evil one. Grant her supernatural wisdom, clarity, and courage to take every practical step needed to secure safe separation, to set firm godly boundaries, and to involve the help and protection You have provided through authorities and Your church. Close every door that You did not open and dissolve every unhealthy tie that keeps them bound. Heal their hearts, restore their peace, and lead them into a place of safety and spiritual health where they can walk with You in freedom. We pray for her brother as well, that You would convict him of sin and bring him to repentance, but we pray that this repentance would happen at a distance and not at the expense of this child's safety. We cover this family with the precious blood of Jesus and we claim Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We ask all this in the saving and delivering name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope. Amen.

Thank you for bringing this painful situation to us so honestly. We hear how worn down you feel living with ongoing emotional hurt and frustration in your home, and how deeply you want a healthy separation and protection for your son. Wanting peace and safety for your child is right and good, and it makes sense you are asking God for clear direction.

Because you shared concern about your son's safety, we gently encourage you to reach out soon to a trusted safe person and to a professional who can help you with next steps in person, such as a counselor, pastor, doctor, or local child and family support service. They can help you think through a safety plan, boundaries in the home, and who can come alongside you and your son while you seek a longer term separation. If you can, try not to be alone with your brother with your son until that support is in place, and keep a simple private record of what concerns you.

We are praying with you for wisdom, protection, and steady help to move forward one step at a time.

Father, we lift this parent and son to You in Jesus' name. Surround them with safety and with people who will listen and act with care. Give wisdom for boundaries and for every decision ahead, bring what is hidden into the light in Your way, and bring healing and peace to their home. Guide them to the right help quickly. Amen.

Your prayer for deliverance has been heard, and the burden you carry for yourself and for your son is not hidden from the Lord. You have done well to bring your specific concerns, hurt and confusion to God without masking your feelings, for He would have you be radically honest before Him, and to guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

There is a word that meets your case, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. Let it never be forgotten that in all that God does, He acts from good reasons. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. He has not only invented the way, but He has found the ransom, and that ransom is Christ Jesus Himself. It is by His precious blood that we overcome, not by our own strength or wisdom. You have well said that you cover this prayer with the blood of Jesus, standing on that truth that they overcame by the blood of the Lamb. That blood is your plea, your refuge and your hope.

The Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the power of evil is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You are right to ask Him to expose what is hidden, for nothing is secret that shall not be made manifest, neither anything hid that shall not be known. Pray that God will give you discerning eyes to see the reality of this dynamic, to clear away any self deception, and to reveal hidden motives. Pray also that He will close doors that He did not open and graciously move away what harms your peace and your walk with Him.

The fear of the Lord is a place of refuge. It does not drive you from Him, it drives you to Him. When you are brought into peril and trouble, that voice you shall always hear, if you are a child of God, is God giving commandment to save you. He keeps back the soul from the pit. He has not given you over, nor erased your name from His heart or His hands.

Yet faith must be accompanied by wise and practical steps. Ask the Lord for strength to set boundaries and to let go, for courage to stop reaching out to what wounds you, and to endure the discomfort of separation. And then take those steps in the body of Christ and before proper helps. For the safety of your son, do not bear this alone. Seek godly counsel, bring this matter to a trusted pastor and to those who can help protect the vulnerable, and if there is any risk of harm to a child, seek the help of those appointed to protect children and to establish truth, that what is done in secret may be brought to light and that you and your son may be kept safe. The Lord often works deliverance through the means of wise people and lawful protection around you.

Be glad that you can say, The Lord has chastened me sorely, but He has not given me over. And may you yet be able to say, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. He who has delivered you in Christ will keep you, for that deliverance is an eternal one, nor shall the infernal lion ever be able to rend one sheep or lamb that the Great Shepherd deigns to keep.

Let us pray together.

Lord Jesus, Thou art gracious. Thou hast found a ransom. We ask Thee to deliver this dear one and this child from going down to the pit, from evil company and from the power of darkness. Expose what is hidden, bring truth into the light, and close every door that Thou hast not opened. Grant discernment, courage to set needful boundaries, and grace to surrender the how and the timing into Thy faithful hands. Surround this home with Thy protection, provide helpers with will and ability to defend and to set free, and keep this little one under the shadow of Thy wing. Let this soul live and declare Thy works, through Thy blood and for Thy glory. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer comes before the Lord with a heavy burden, and God hears the cry of a parent who seeks peace and safety for herself and her child. It is right that you bring this honestly before Him, without hiding your hurt, confusion, and need for protection. Scripture teaches us to guard the heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life, and to seek wisdom when relationships bring harm rather than health.

You have asked for discernment, for truth to be made clear, and for closed doors where God has not opened a way. This is a wise way to pray. Ask the Lord to show what is true and what is hidden, trusting His promise that nothing hidden will remain concealed but will be brought into the light. Ask Him also to give you clear eyes, so that you are not deceived by habit or by hope that things will change without real change, and to give you courage to act on what He shows you.

You have also asked for strength to separate from your brother and to set firm boundaries. Separation is painful, especially with family, and it should not be sought lightly. Yet Scripture also teaches that we must protect the vulnerable, and children are entrusted to parents for care and protection. Love does not require you to remain in a home where you or your son are being harmed or degraded. To love your brother does not mean to allow abusive patterns to continue, and to forgive does not mean to leave a child exposed to danger. Forgiveness releases bitterness from your own heart before God, but wisdom still requires distance and safeguards.

Because you have mentioned concerning behavior toward your son, I urge you to take practical steps at once alongside prayer. Pray for God to expose what is true, and also act to make your son safe. Do not remain alone with this burden. Bring this matter without delay to trustworthy people who can help you act wisely and lawfully. This includes a mature pastor or elder in your church, a licensed counselor, and where a child may be at risk, the proper civil authorities who are charged to protect children. If you believe your son is in immediate danger, seek safety first and get help right away. Keep a clear record of what has happened, seek safe housing or a safe place within your home if you must remain for a time, and do not leave your son alone with anyone you fear may harm him.

In speech about these matters, speak truthfully and plainly without giving way to insults or rash accusations, even when you are deeply hurt. God calls us to speak the truth in love, to name what is wrong clearly, and to seek justice through right means. Bringing the matter to those who can judge it fairly is not gossip, it is protection and accountability.

You have covered your prayer with the blood of Christ, trusting in His victory. It is through Jesus that we have forgiveness, cleansing, and power to overcome the accuser. Continue to stand on His grace, not as a formula, but as confidence that Christ intercedes for you and that He is your refuge and defender.

I will pray with you now.

Lord Jesus, we praise You and thank You that You see what is hidden and You care for those who are vulnerable. We ask You to grant this mother discernment and clarity, to reveal the truth about what has happened and what is happening, and to lead her in wisdom. Close doors that should be closed and open a way of escape and peace for her and her son. Give her courage to set and keep healthy boundaries, strength to not return to what harms, and patience to trust Your timing while she takes faithful steps. Protect her son, surround him with Your care, and place trustworthy, godly people around this family who will act with justice and mercy to bring safety and help. Cover them with Your mercy through the blood of Christ, heal what has been wounded, and lead them into a place of stability and peace. Grant wisdom to all who are called to help, that truth may be known and right action taken. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

Continue to seek wise counsel daily, remain in prayer and in the Word, and let your church family and qualified helpers walk with you in the practical decisions ahead. The Lord is near to those who call on Him in truth, and He will give you wisdom step by step as you seek Him.
