Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you break me free of all generational chains, standing on John 8:36. I ask to be restored from all attacks Lord Jesus, standing on Isaiah 61:7. I also ask Lord Jesus that you set me free of all the witchcraft that was done over me, standing on Micah 5:12. May the blood of Jesus protect me from all attacks over my life, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting your cry for deliverance before the throne of grace. The chains of generational sin and spiritual oppression are real, but they are no match for the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. You have rightly claimed His victory in your prayer, and we join our faith with yours, declaring that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17).

Generational curses and iniquities can indeed pass down through families, but the cross of Christ has broken their power. We rebuke every ancestral spirit, every demonic assignment, and every witchcraft operation that has sought to bind you. The Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'" (Galatians 3:13). By His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and by His blood, you are protected.

We also take authority over every spirit of witchcraft that has been sent against you. The Lord has promised, "I will destroy your witchcraft, and you shall have no more soothsayers" (Micah 5:12). We command every evil altar, every ungodly soul tie, and every demonic influence to be dismantled and destroyed in the name of Jesus. The blood of the Lamb has overcome them (Revelation 12:11), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that was shed for our deliverance and protection. Lord, we stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that every generational chain, every curse, and every spirit of witchcraft is broken by the power of the cross. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their mind, their body, and their spirit. We cancel every assignment of the enemy and command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask that You restore what has been stolen, heal what has been wounded, and renew what has been broken. Let Your Holy Spirit fill every void and bring peace that surpasses all understanding. We declare that our brother/sister is free indeed, for if the Son sets them free, they are free indeed (John 8:36). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be their shield and fortress.

We also pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Let them walk in the fullness of Your power, wisdom, and discernment. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, knowing that nothing can separate them from You (Romans 8:38-39). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them stand firm in the liberty wherewith Christ has made them free (Galatians 5:1).

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, free from fear, free from oppression, and free to serve You with joy and gladness.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God and walking in the authority that Christ has given you. Spend time in prayer and worship, for the enemy flees when we draw near to God (James 4:7-8). Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in faith and hold you accountable. Renounce any involvement in ungodly practices, past or present, and fill your life with godly influences, Scripture, prayer, and fellowship with the body of Christ.

If there are areas of your life where you have knowingly or unknowingly opened doors to the enemy (such as through sin, unforgiveness, or involvement in occult practices), we urge you to repent and close those doors. The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Do not give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27), but instead, walk in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7).

Lastly, remember that your deliverance is not just for your sake but for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom. As you walk in freedom, you become a testimony to others of the power of Christ. Share your story, encourage others, and let your life be a living testament to the goodness and faithfulness of God. The Lord has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Walk in that hope, and do not look back.

We hear the raw hunger in your prayer, and we join our hearts with yours before the Lord. You’re standing on solid ground, not in your own strength, but on the finished work of Jesus and the authority of His Word. That desire for freedom itself is evidence of the Spirit at work in you.

Walking out deliverance is often both an event and a process. Jesus broke every chain once for all, but we learn to live in that freedom day by day as we renew our minds and close doors the enemy might try to exploit. Your prayer is powerful, and we believe God is answering. At the same time, isolation can make us more vulnerable, so we’d gently encourage you to share this journey with a trusted pastor, prayer team, or a few mature believers you know. Having others who will stand with you in agreement and pray with you over time is one of the most practical safeguards the body of Christ offers.

Jesus, we thank You that You are the Deliverer, and that nothing done in darkness can withstand Your light. By Your blood, we declare every generational chain broken and every assignment of witchcraft rendered powerless. We ask that the deep restoration You promise, beauty for ashes, a double portion instead of shame, become this beloved friend’s daily experience. Surround them with Your peace, and connect them with safe, wise voices who will walk alongside. In Your mighty name, amen.

You have taken hold of the promise with both hands, and this is well. The text you cite from John's Gospel is a key that can loose the most stubborn lock; for the Son makes free, and freedom is yours indeed. Yet note this: the deliverance we seek is by divine power alone. When Israel came out of Egypt, it was Jehovah who brought forth her armies. None can break the chains of generations but He who commanded the light to shine out of darkness. Stand firm, then, upon the truth that He who begins this work will carry it to completion. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the low tree, fostered by the husbandman, shall mount even to the stars.

But I hear in your cry a fear of dark assaults, and this is no trifling matter. The enemy shoots his arrows even at those who are sheltered by the blood. There is a divine buckler which God has provided for His church against this very thing; it is the fact that God never has forsaken them that fear Him, and that, moreover, He never will do so. The wicked one may whisper that your help is cut off, that the enchantments against you are too strong. It is a lie forged in the bottomless pit. The Lord keep your faith alive, and then whatever trials surge around you, you will sit on the Rock of Ages, above the waves, and joyfully sing praises unto your Divine Deliverer!

And let us be clear about the source of true freedom. You ask to be set free from witchcraft, standing on the prophet Micah. So be it. But remember always where the chains truly fall. We obeyed the word, and our chains fell off; the iron gate opened of its own accord. Deliverance does not rest on a formula spoken, but on the Person who bled. It is a gift of Divine Love. Sinner, do not doubt your deliverance, for God has said it, "I have found a ransom." That ransom is Christ, and by His blood you overcome the accuser.

Now, as the answer dawns, let your conduct match the mercy. "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Here is declaration. If we had no troubles, we would all have less to declare. Go now, and as you grasp that divine word of promise and suck out its honey, let no smiting doubt make you drop it. The Lord has chastened you sore, but He will not give you over unto death. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of your deliverance, for the time had come! Rejoice, then. He brought you out to tell it.
