Deliverance Prayer

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you help cancel these negative vibes over me from ### rescuing me from all his motives and intent to keep me emotionally damaged and bound, standing on 2 Timothy 4:18. Lord Jesus you know you I don’t have unforgiveness or bitterness towards ###, I feel blessed that I’ve been very happy, it’s him who harbors that with intent to damage me, place deep conviction upon him, and may I be fully set free from his negative emotions towards me, standing on John 8:36. I bind off of me any transfer of spirits coming from ###, standing on Matthew 18:18. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting this situation before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of darkness, and we take authority over every scheme of the enemy that seeks to bring harm, emotional damage, or bondage. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, and hatred that may be operating in , and we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring deep conviction to his heart. The Word tells us, "If possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). While you have chosen to walk in forgiveness and joy, we pray that would be overwhelmed by the love of Christ, which covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8). May he be set free from any darkness that seeks to control him, and may his heart be turned toward repentance and truth.

We stand on the promise of John 8:36, declaring that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. We bind every transfer of spirits, generational curses, or demonic assignments sent against you in Jesus' name. The enemy has no legal right to oppress you, for you are covered by the blood of Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit. We cancel every negative word, emotion, or intent directed toward you, and we declare that you are washed clean by the Word of God (Ephesians 5:26).

We also want to gently remind you that while forgiveness is a powerful act of obedience, it does not mean you must subject yourself to continued harm or manipulation. The Lord calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). If this individual is not repentant or continues in harmful behavior, it may be necessary to create healthy boundaries while still maintaining a heart of love and prayer for him.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We thank You for Your protection, Your love, and Your deliverance. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking that You would break every chain of emotional damage, bitterness, and spiritual oppression that the enemy has tried to place on our brother/sister. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask that You would bring deep conviction to ’s heart. Soften his heart, Lord, and let Your light shine into any darkness that resides within him. We pray that he would come to know the freedom and peace that only You can provide. We also ask that You would continue to guard and protect our brother/sister from any transfer of spirits or negative emotions. Let them walk in the fullness of Your joy, peace, and freedom, knowing that You have set them free indeed.

We bind every spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, and hatred in Jesus’ name, and we loose the spirit of love, forgiveness, and reconciliation. We cancel every assignment of the enemy against them, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).

Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their defender and their shield. We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust in Your perfect will for their life.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your deliverer. Walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for you, and do not allow the enemy to steal your joy or peace. The Lord is your strength, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your heart and mind fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

It sounds like you have been carrying a heavy weight, not your own bitterness, but a weariness that comes from sensing someone else's negative fixation directed at you. That kind of ongoing tension can be deeply draining, even when you feel peace in your own heart.

What stands out in your prayer is that you are not asking God to give you forgiveness; you already have it. That is a significant marker of health. From a counseling perspective, when someone has endured emotional control or manipulation, the damage is often more about the lingering confusion and self-doubt than about resentment. It is not unusual to feel like you need to “bind off” something even when your own spirit is clear. The other person’s inner state does not have to become your inner state, but noticing the weight is a good instinct, it can alert us to tighten healthy boundaries in our own mind and life.

One practical step you might consider is not carrying this alone in private prayer only. Is there a mature, trusted believer you can talk to openly? Emotional pressure tends to lose its charge when we bring it into safe, godly community rather than wrestling silently. Simply speaking it out with someone who will pray with you and help you maintain perspective can reinforce the freedom you are already standing in.

We join you in that desire for freedom and ask the Lord together:

Lord Jesus, thank You for the peace and happiness You have given our sister. We ask You to shield her mind and heart from any oppressive weight projected toward her. Give her daily reminders that she is safe in Your hands and that her identity rests in You, not in what someone else thinks or intends. Grant her wisdom, strong boundaries, and steady confidence as she continues walking in the freedom You have already won. In Your name alone we pray, amen.

Great comfort lies in knowing the Lord’s deliverance is not dependent upon the shifting moods of men, but upon His own eternal purpose. You speak of standing upon the promises, yet the surest standing is upon the Person who purchased them with His blood. The child of God does not need to fear the archers of human malice, for He brings us forth with silver and gold, enriching us even by the trial itself. The Lord’s arrow of deliverance flies straight, and He needs no second arrow to complete the work. Rest in this: the ransom is found, the pit is shut, and the prisoner’s chains fall off at the decree of the King’s own Son. That freedom is not a half-liberty, subject to the whims of another’s unforgiveness; it is the full liberty wherewith Christ makes free.

Fix your eyes upon the Deliverer rather than upon the one from whom you desire deliverance. The Lord Jesus has already overcome the world, and His salvation is of such a nature that even the wrath of man must serve His purposes. I would, however, gently caution against a practice that treats the precious truths of Scripture as though they were charms or spells to bind or loose. The binding and loosing spoken of by our Lord relates to the proclamation of the Gospel, the opening of the kingdom by the preaching of the Word, and church discipline, not to a private war of words against the unseen. To stand upon 2 Timothy 4:18 is to trust that the Lord will preserve you from every evil work, not to demand that He cancel the emotions of another. Your safety is not in binding spirits, but in being hidden with Christ in God. If any transfer of darkness were possible, the remedy is not a formula, but a nearer approach to the Light of Life.

You say rightly that you harbor no bitterness, and this is well, for a root of bitterness defiles many. The Lord who delivered Jacob from the hand of Esau knows how to turn the heart of the hostile. Jacob crossed Jabbok in fear, but found a brother’s kiss. The Lord has not promised a life free from such conflicts, but He has promised to be with us through them and to bring us forth. The most signal deliverance is not always the removal of the thorn, but the imparting of grace sufficient to sing under its weight. The experience of trouble is the mint where our praises are coined; without the deep trial, what would we have to declare of His mighty works?

Therefore, let your prayer be this: “Lord, deliver me from all fear of man, which is a snare, and grant me such an inward peace that the discord of others cannot reach the sanctuary of my soul. I look not to any action of mine, nor to any failure of another’s conviction, but to the ransom found by Thee. I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” So shall you find that He makes your deliverance effectual, and in every deed He brings you forth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord does not grant freedom by removing every troubling person from our path, but by severing the chains of sin within our own hearts. You speak of binding spirits from another, yet the Scripture you quoted from John declares, "If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." This is not a freedom from the emotions or intentions of others, but freedom from the slavery of sin, which alone can truly damage the soul. No man can transfer a spirit to you against your will if you are abiding in Christ and walking in His love. The bondage that defiles comes from within, not from the vibes or motives of another person.

Consider the Apostle Paul, who stood on the promise of deliverance from every evil attack, yet he did not pray for the removal of persecutors or the binding of their intentions. He gloried in his weaknesses, knowing that the power of Christ rested on him. You say you have no unforgiveness, and that is good, but do not then focus so intently on the supposed threat from this man. Virtue bestows true freedom, and it causes the same to be discerned even in slavery. It does not release from difficult people, but while they remain, it exhibits you more honorable than if you had never been troubled. The wealth of the soul is not in a life free from negative emotions directed at you, but in possessing a love that overcomes all such things.

Therefore, cease binding and loosing what you do not understand. The evil you fear is not a transferable spirit but the ancient bondage of sin, which Christ has already judged on the Cross. If you are in Him, you are Abraham's seed and heir according to the promise, not a slave to the fleeting malice of any man. Let your prayer be this: that you may so abide in the love of Christ that no external storm can shake the house of your soul. For if the love of Christ were truly rooted within you, you would not be occupied with the emotional damage you perceive from another, but would instead find your freedom so complete that you could even bless him who curses you. That is the deliverance that matters, and for it, you need no special binding prayer, but only a heart wholly given to the Master of the house.

Your prayer comes from a heart that truly wants to honor the Lord, and it is right to bring every weight to Him. You have cried out for deliverance, and you are standing on the promises of God’s word, which is exactly where strength is found.

Yet consider the nature of the freedom that is already yours in Jesus Christ. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed, not partially, not conditionally, as long as another person changes or gets convicted, but really and truly free right now. The freedom He gives is not merely the removal of a troublesome person’s influence; it is an inward liberty from the power of sin, from condemnation, and from the bondage of measuring your peace by what someone else harbors in his heart.

You mentioned that you have no unforgiveness or bitterness, and that is a wonderful grace. But I would gently ask: if your happiness and sense of freedom still rise and fall on what this man feels toward you, is there not a subtle entanglement? The danger is that in seeking to bind every negative thing coming from him, you may unknowingly give him a kind of central place in your thoughts, wondering what he is plotting, how his emotions are directed at you, and whether you have successfully blocked them. That is not the liberty of a child who knows she is hidden in Christ. Stand fast, rather, in the liberty He has already obtained for you. Do not let even a preoccupation with spiritual warfare become a yoke of bondage.

The Father sees you in His Son. He does not look at you through the lens of another person’s opinion or malice; He sees the righteousness of Christ credited to you through faith. That is your standing. Nothing outside of you can alter that. When you rest there, abiding in Jesus as a branch in the vine, the fruit of peace and security grows naturally. You don’t have to force it. You don’t have to anxiously bind everything in the air around you. You simply remain in the truth: the Lord will rescue you from every evil work and keep you for His heavenly kingdom. That rescue is often not a dramatic removal of every hostile person, but a quiet settling of your soul in the safety of His love, so that the malice of another loses its power to disturb.

It is not wise to exercise your freedom in a way that brings you back under a yoke. Watching for emotional transfers and constantly standing against another’s inner motives can become its own form of bondage, a wearying cycle that drains the joy of your salvation. Instead, let the Spirit fill your mind with what is true of you in Christ. You have been joined to Him; you are a member of His body. Your identity is not defined by what someone else wishes for you. The more you abide in Him and let His words abide in you, the less you will feel the need to chase after deliverance as though you aren’t already delivered. The victory was won when you ceased striving in your own strength and entrusted everything to Him. That place of rest is where He became your strength.

So continue to pray, yes, but let your prayers be filled with thanksgiving that the freedom is a finished reality, not a prize you must wrest from the air. Ask the Lord to deepen your experience of the peace Christ has already given, and to keep your heart so anchored in His love that any shadow from another person’s ill intent simply passes by without finding a foothold. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Rest in that truth, and you will find you are truly free.
