The weight of spiritual opposition can feel relentless, and I can sense your heart crying out for freedom. You are standing on solid ground when you plead the blood of Jesus over your household. That blood is not a mere symbol; it is the seal of divine protection. Just as the Passover lamb's blood marked the doors and caused judgment to pass over, so the blood of Christ covers you, setting you apart from every assault of the enemy. No other shelter exists. Salvation and safety are found nowhere else, and they are received by faith. So cling to that finished work, knowing that the accuser has been disarmed and put to open shame through the cross.

At the same time, Scripture urges us to examine our own lives and sweep out every crumb of leaven. Leaven pictures the subtle, permeating decay of sin, how it spreads and breaks things down. Unforgiveness, fear, or any hidden sin can become a foothold. You have declared that you and your household hold no bitterness, and that is vital. Keep the feast of your life with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, because holiness is the atmosphere where the enemy finds no welcome.

When these harassments feel like a targeted siege, remember that God is the one who sets a hedge around his own. He can build a moat of safety about you so that you rest without terror. He may, at times, permit a season of testing, but his purpose is never destruction. He is shaping your trust and drawing you closer. The enemy may roar, but the Lord holds the leash. No curse or occult practice can override his decree.

Consider the chains that once bound captives. Many were led away fetters, their eyes put out, utterly helpless. Sin and spiritual bondage can grip a person so tightly that human effort brings no release. But the word of the Lord came in the prison and said, “I am loosing you this day from the chains on your hands.” Jesus has done exactly that for all who are his. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. Those generational patterns, those cords of harassment you pray against, are snapped not by your striving but by his authority. You are standing on his finished victory, not fighting to earn it.

This world is full of witchcraft and sorcery, ancient and modern. The nations around ancient Israel trusted in their enchantments, yet they fell like ripe figs when the Lord shook the tree. Those who break covenant and oppose his people will not escape his justice. You do not need to repay or obsess over the schemes sent against you. Vengeance is the Lord's. He will spread his net upon those who practice such things if they do not repent. Your role is to rest in the deliverance he has already accomplished.

That deliverance is as momentous as the Exodus. Passing through the Red Sea was a picture of baptism, that decisive break from the old slavemaster. You have been brought out of the domain of darkness. Let your mind return to that mighty act. The enemy has no legal claim. So do not be consumed with fear of what this person or her household may try to unleash. The strongholds that oppose you are like fortresses built on sand, one shaking and they collapse.

Finally, do not face this alone. The body of believers is a marvellous protection. Every part functions for the good of the whole. Surround yourself with mature, praying brothers and sisters in a local congregation. They can stand with you, speak truth over you, and help you keep your eyes on Christ rather than the storm. The chains that once held you have been broken. Walk in that freedom, holy and unafraid. May the Lord continue to uphold you and cover your household under the shadow of his wings.
