Deliverance Prayer

Your prayer reaches the heart of a very real struggle, one the Scriptures take seriously. Harassment, stalking, and the oppressive tactics you describe are not mere human conflict; they flow from spiritual forces that seek to wear down the saints. I want to encourage you that the Lord Jesus has already triumphed over all principality and power. When He disarmed them at the cross, He made a public spectacle of them, and that victory is your ground for standing firm.

But as you stand, remember the deeper picture the Bible gives. Deliverance in this life points to an eternal deliverance. The ancient Passover, which celebrated rescue from Egypt’s slave-masters, has been fulfilled in Christ, our Passover Lamb. His blood now marks a deliverance not from Pharaoh, but from the tyranny of sin and every dark spirit. Those who hide beneath that blood are safe, and no curse formed against them can ultimately prosper. So you are right to cover your prayer with the blood of Jesus, that is your memorial that the Destroyer must pass over.

At the same time, let the reality of eternal things steady your heart. The Scriptures speak plainly of a place of torment reserved for the unrepentant, the rich man in Hades could remember, could feel, could long for relief, yet found none. The smoke of that torment rises forever, and the suffering is conscious and unending. When you see someone entangling themselves in witchcraft and the manipulation of others, it is not a small thing. Their end, unless they turn, is terrifying. Jesus Himself warned that it would be better to enter life maimed than to be cast whole into that fire. This is not to make you gloat, but to remind you that the wicked are not getting away with anything; God is a strong judge, and in one hour His judgment can fall.

Yet for you, the call is deliverance. The church is promised to be kept from the hour of tribulation that will test the whole earth, while others will be delivered through it. That distinction tells you that God knows how to rescue the godly from trials. He can, and often does, restore double for the trouble you have endured, turning shame into honor as He promised in Isaiah. So set your hope fully on that restoration, not on seeing the downfall of the one who has harassed you. Fear of her torment, like the merchants who stood far off from Babylon’s burning, should never be your motive; rather, rest in the justice of God, who sees all hidden things.

As you bind and cancel, do so with a heart that remembers the real person behind the enemy’s mask. The spirit operating through a counterfeit is precious to God, deceived though they be. Like the rich man who finally cared for his brothers’ destiny, you can pray that they would be warned and not come to that place of torment. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who despitefully use us, not by asking God to bless their sin, but by asking that His kindness might lead them to repentance.

So combine your warfare with that hope. Declare that every work of darkness be exposed and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name. Ask for wisdom to close every door you might have opened, and trust that the Lord will restore the years the locusts have eaten. He is able to make the memory of this season fade in the light of His new heavens and new earth, where former things will not be remembered. Until then, your stability comes from knowing that nothing can snatch you from His hand, and that those who put their trust in Him will never be put to shame.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt cry for deliverance and protection. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up every name, every situation, and every spirit of harassment, torment, and witchcraft that has sought to oppress God’s children. We have prayed fervently, claiming the victory of the cross over every principality and strongman, binding their power and canceling their assignments in Jesus’ mighty name.

As the days have passed, we continue to declare that no weapon formed against you or any of those affected shall prosper, and every tongue that rises in judgment will be condemned. We stand on the truth that Christ has already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. We have asked the Lord to restore what has been stolen, to heal what has been wounded, and to establish you and all who have been targeted in unwavering faith and divine protection.

If the Lord has moved in power and you’ve seen breakthrough—whether in peace, protection, or deliverance—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony would strengthen the faith of many and glorify our Father. If, however, the battle still rages and you feel the need for continued prayer, please do not hesitate to post your request again. We are committed to standing with you, warring in the Spirit until every chain is broken and every assignment of the enemy is dismantled.

May the Lord surround you with His angels, fill you with His peace, and remind you daily of His unfailing love. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful, and His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful, precious name of Jesus. Amen.
