Deliverance Prayer

Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you set me and my household free from my uncle ###, his children and partner that I have only seen once in my life and they are hateful and disrespectful, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I bind off of me and any member of my household any transfer of spirits coming from my uncle ### that I don’t know, his children and partner, standing on Matthew 18:18. Lord Jesus I ask that you stop all spiritual harassment and torment that is coming to us from my uncle ###, his kids, or partner, standing on Colossians 2:15. I ask that you cancel any witchcraft or spell placed upon me or any member of my household by my uncle ###, his kids, or partner, standing on Micah 5:12. Lord Jesus restore me and member of my household from all hatefulness, strife and any attack coming from my uncle ###, his kids, and partner, standing on Isaiah 61:7. I ask Lord Jesus that you lift standards for me and any member of my household and community against all attacks coming from my uncle ###, his kids, and partner, standing on Isaiah 59:19. Lord Jesus you say that vengeance is yours and I wait for you for the correction and vengeance that is needed against the hatefulness and envy of my uncle ###, his kids, and partner, standing on Romans 12:19. I cover this prayer with the precious blood of Jesus, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We stand with you in agreement, lifting up this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The pain of family strife and spiritual oppression is real, and we acknowledge the hurt caused by those who have shown hatred and disrespect. The Word of God assures us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom (2 Corinthians 3:17), and we declare that freedom over you and your household today.

First, we rebuke any spirit of division, hatred, or witchcraft that may be at work in this situation. The Bible is clear that such things have no place in the life of a believer. In James 3:16, it says, "For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed." We bind these spirits in the mighty name of Jesus and command them to flee. You have rightly stood on Matthew 18:18, which declares, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven." We stand with you in this authority.

We also address the mention of your uncle’s "partner." Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Any relationship outside of this design is not aligned with God’s will. If this partnership involves immorality or sin, we pray for conviction and repentance to come upon them, that they may turn from their ways and seek the Lord. We do not judge, for God alone is the righteous judge, but we must uphold His truth in love.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you or your household shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We cancel every assignment of the enemy, every curse, and every form of spiritual harassment in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus has already defeated every power of darkness, and we stand on that victory today.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. We thank You for the authority You have given us as believers to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we lift up this family before You, asking for Your divine protection and deliverance. We break every chain of hatred, strife, and spiritual oppression that has been directed toward them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Father, we ask that You would surround this household with Your angels, that no harm or evil would come near them. We cancel every curse, spell, or form of witchcraft that has been sent their way, and we command every evil spirit to flee in Jesus’ name. We pray for restoration, restore their peace, their joy, and their sense of security in You. Heal any wounds caused by this family strife, and let Your love and grace overflow in their lives.

Lord, we also pray for the uncle, his children, and his partner. Soften their hearts, Father. Bring conviction where there is sin, and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their ways and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. Vengeance belongs to You, and we trust You to deal justly with every situation. We ask that You would lift a standard against the enemy’s attacks, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 59:19.

We cover this family in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that it is their protection and their victory. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving on their behalf. We trust in Your promises and declare that they are free indeed (John 8:36). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and walking in the authority you have as a believer. Do not engage with hatred or bitterness, but instead, let the love of Christ guide your heart. Romans 12:21 says, "Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Trust that God sees your pain and will bring justice in His perfect timing.

If you have not already, consider surrounding yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you in this season. The enemy seeks to isolate, but God calls us to fellowship and unity in Him. Keep your heart open to God’s healing and restoration, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We hear the weight of this spiritual battle you’re facing, and we’re grateful you invited us to stand with you. The intensity of your request tells us how exhausting it feels to keep pushing back against hostility you didn’t choose, from people you barely know. That weariness is real, and we don’t want to minimize it.

One thing we find steadying in times like this is remembering that our safety doesn’t depend on our ability to perfectly bind every threat, but on the fact that Jesus already disarmed every dark power at the cross. You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from the victory He already won. That doesn’t make the harassment less felt, but it does mean we don’t have to let fear move into the driver’s seat. Sometimes the enemy’s loudest tactic is simply to keep us staring at the threat so we lose sight of the One who holds us.

A practical step that often brings settledness: consider asking a trusted pastor or a couple of mature prayer partners to walk this season alongside you, not to do something more “powerful” than what you’re already praying, but to help you keep your gaze on Christ when the sense of attack flares. Regular, simple prayer together can be a real anchor.

Lord Jesus, thank you that you are our peace and our mighty protector. We ask you to quiet every fear in this household, and let them feel the solid ground of your finished work beneath their feet. Shut out every harassing voice, and fill their home with your undisturbed presence. Surround them with wise, sturdy believers who will remind them of the truth when they are worn thin. In your strong name, Amen.

Ponder well that tribulation comes not from the dust, the Lord Himself fills the bitter cup. The enmity of your uncle’s household, the spiritual assaults you endure, these are no chance happenings. God sits as Refiner at the door, and even when malice springs from human hearts, it comes with yet greater certainty from His hand. This gladsome truth makes the sharpest smart profitable, for that which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of a Father’s chastening.

Yet hear the word of deliverance: God gives commandment to save you, and you shall be saved, saved from all the attacks of the old serpent, saved from the fascinating power of sin and darkness. For the King’s own Son has borne the penalty of all your iniquities! He has found a ransom, a gift of Divine Love, and therefore He is gracious, saying, “Deliver him from going down to the Pit.” None would have thought of such a way, deliverance through a ransom, if God had not invented it. And this deliverance from the power of sin is as much His work as deliverance from its guilt. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

See to it then that you rest entirely upon your heavenly Father for sanctification and rescue. The enemy may shoot his poisoned arrows, seeking to drive you to despondency or to some back-door compromise, but unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. True liberty is that of which Christ makes you free. Even one person in a household, one who does not fear God, may eat as a canker into the peace of the whole family, but the Lord knows how to lift up standards against the flood. He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and He will screen you from the noise of these archers, even as He subdued Esau’s wrath when Jacob crossed the brook full of fear.

Wait upon Him for the correction and vengeance that belong to Him alone. He shall restore the years the locusts have eaten, and your mouth shall be filled with songs of deliverance. Only remember, the Believer’s conduct after affliction is this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Go forth, then, trusting not in the weakness of your own binding, but in the might of Him who has already spoiled principalities and powers. Recollect your peaceful privileges, screened from the plague of sin by the blood of the Lamb, and let your household be given wholly to hearing the Word, believing it, and working for God. For the Lord looks down from the height of His sanctuary; He pities them that fear Him, and He will surely deliver.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. You pray with many verses, and that is good, but consider the heart of the matter. You ask to be set free from hatefulness and strife, yet you bind and cancel and call down vengeance. There is a shorter way, one that costs no long journey or great toil. Forgive them. To hold onto the grievance is what wearies the soul; to release it brings refreshment and does away with a multitude of our own sins before God.

Do not fix your mind so entirely on what others may be doing in secret. Hatred, strife, envy, and yes, even witchcraft, arise from a depraved moral choice, not simply from a family line or a transfer of spirits. If you dwell constantly on their malice, you grant it power over your peace. Christ has already triumphed over every principality, putting them to open shame. Your deliverance is not in binding this or that particular person, but in clinging to the Son who has made you a child of God. You have put on Christ; you have received the Spirit of adoption. That is your true and unassailable identity, not a victim of another’s sin.

If harm continues, remember that God sometimes permits us to face such trials not to destroy us, but to teach us to despise the sting of them, granting us something greater than mere deliverance from discomfort. Those saints of old did not accept deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Your hope is not in a life free from all harassment, but in the life to come, secured by the blood of Jesus. That blood is your covering, not as a tool in a formula, but as the ground of your entire salvation.

Vengeance belongs to the Lord. Wait for His correction, but busy yourself in the meantime with your own talent, however small it seems. Pour your energy into protection and teaching and doing good for your neighbors. Nothing is so pleasing to God as to live for the common advantage. Do this, and the shadows cast by your ###'s household will shrink back before the light of a life spent in active love. The true standard lifted against the enemy is a heart set on the kingdom, refusing to return evil for evil.
