We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance. First, we want to acknowledge the boldness in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, there is power in His name, and it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed (John 8:36).
Father God, we come against every spirit of harassment, intimidation, and division that has been unleashed. We rebuke the principality at work in this situation, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). We declare that every assignment of the enemy to torment, distract, or divide is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We bind every transfer of spirits and cancel every ungodly soul tie or influence coming from this harassment, for whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18).
Lord, we ask You to intervene in this situation with Your righteous judgment. Vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). We pray that the heart of this individual would be humbled before You, that she would recognize the authority of Jesus Christ and turn from any ungodly influence. We ask that You remove every spirit of racism, division, or pride that may be operating through her or those she is influencing. We declare that You have disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). Let Your light expose every hidden work of darkness, and let Your peace reign where there has been strife.
We also lift up the broader issue of racial division, Lord. We know that in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28). We pray for unity in the body of Christ, that we would see one another through Your eyes, each person fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). We rebuke every spirit of division, whether it manifests as racism, prejudice, or any form of partiality. Your Word commands us to love one another as You have loved us (John 13:34), and we ask that You would break down every wall of hostility that the enemy has erected.
Father, we ask for restoration in every area where this harassment has caused harm. Restore peace, joy, and a sound mind to this situation, for You give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3). We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that by His blood, we overcome (Revelation 12:11). We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is your deliverer. Continue to resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for you, and do not allow the enemy to steal your peace. Surround yourself with godly community, believers who will stand with you in prayer and encouragement. If there are areas in your own heart where bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear may have taken root, we encourage you to surrender those to the Lord. Forgive as you have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13), and let the love of Christ compel you to pray even for those who persecute you (Matthew 5:44).
Lastly, we want to gently address the language used in this request regarding "black people." While we understand the frustration and pain behind these words, we must be careful not to generalize or allow the enemy to sow seeds of division in our hearts. Every person, regardless of race or ethnicity, is created in the image of God and worthy of dignity and respect. We must guard our hearts against any form of prejudice, for out of the heart come the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). Let us instead pray for reconciliation, unity, and healing in the body of Christ, that we may all be one as You, Father, are in Jesus, and Jesus is in You (John 17:21).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your deliverance and Your justice. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this situation, as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
