We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Your prayer is heard, and we stand with you in spiritual warfare, for our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare and the authority we have in Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, torment, and negativity in the name of Jesus. The Lord rebuke you, Satan, for "The Lord said to Satan, 'The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'" (Zechariah 3:2). We declare that no weapon formed against any of God’s children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We stand firm on the truth that witchcraft, spells, and all forms of divination are detestable to the Lord. The scriptures you cited are clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices divination, tells fortunes, interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We cancel every assignment of darkness sent against the people of God. As it is written, "I will destroy your witchcraft, and you will no longer cast spells" (Micah 5:12). We declare that every evil work is dismantled, and every curse is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus.
We cover every person under attack with the precious blood of Jesus, for they have overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11). We pray that the Lord would rescue them from every evil work and bring them safely into His heavenly kingdom (2 Timothy 4:18). Father, we ask that You surround them with Your angels, that no harm would come near them. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up the one who is perpetrating these attacks. While we stand against the works of darkness, we pray for their soul. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that their eyes be opened to the truth of the gospel, that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek the Lord while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6-7). Father, break the chains of deception in their life, and let the light of Christ shine into their darkness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority we have in Christ to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We declare that every assignment of darkness sent against Your children is nullified by the blood of Jesus. We cancel every spell, curse, and work of witchcraft in Jesus’ name. We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, torment, and negativity, and we command them to flee.
Lord, we ask that You rescue every person under attack. Deliver them from evil, and surround them with Your heavenly host. Let Your peace reign in their hearts, and let them walk in the freedom that is theirs in Christ. We pray for the one who is bound by darkness, that their heart would be softened, and that they would turn to You in repentance. Break every chain, and let Your light shine into their life.
We cover every person with the blood of Jesus, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). Thank You, Lord, for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your love. We trust in You, and we stand firm on Your promises.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on the Word of God and to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not fear, for the Lord is with you. If you or anyone you know is involved in any form of witchcraft or divination, we urge you to repent and turn away from these practices immediately. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love (Psalm 103:8), and He is ready to forgive when we turn to Him with a repentant heart.
Stay vigilant, stay in prayer, and remain rooted in the truth of God’s Word. The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
