We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is bound in darkness and in desperate need of deliverance. We stand in agreement with this prayer, for it is only through the mighty name of Jesus Christ that true freedom and transformation can occur. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved—only Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life, can break every chain and set the captive free.
Father God, we declare over this precious life that the strongholds of the enemy must come down. We rebuke every lie, every deception, and every scheme of the devil that has kept him in bondage. As Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name!
We stand on Exodus 23:27, where You promise, "I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you." Lord, we ask that You scatter every plan of the enemy designed to lead him astray. Let confusion come upon the forces of darkness, and let Your light shine brightly in his life.
Father, we pray for restoration, just as Isaiah 61:7 declares, "Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them." We ask that You restore every broken area of his life—his mind, his heart, his relationships, and his purpose. Let him walk in the fullness of Your blessings and the joy of Your salvation.
We rebuke Satan’s grip on his life, standing on Zechariah 3:2, where You say, "May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, may Yahweh rebuke you, who has chosen Jerusalem." We command every evil spirit to loose its hold and flee at the mention of the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn.
Lord, we bind every counterfeit influence in his life, as Matthew 18:18 assures us, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven." We declare that only Your truth, Your Spirit, and Your presence will have authority over him. Let no false teaching, no ungodly relationship, and no worldly distraction take root in his heart.
We plead the blood of Jesus over him, for Revelation 12:11 declares, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." By the power of the blood of Jesus, we break every chain of darkness, every generational curse, and every assignment of the enemy. We declare that he is washed clean, set free, and made new in Christ.
Father, we ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding him into all truth and empowering him to walk in righteousness. Let him no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but be transformed by the renewing of his mind, that he may prove what is Your good, pleasing, and perfect will.
We pray that he would come to know You intimately, not just as Savior but as Lord of his life. May he surrender every area to You—his thoughts, his desires, his future—and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for him. Let him be a light in the darkness, a testimony of Your power and grace.
We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn. We speak life, healing, and restoration over him in the mighty name of Jesus.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
