We stand with you in agreement, lifting up this cry for deliverance and protection in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father God, we come before Your throne of grace, standing on the promises of Your Word. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for the shield of protection that You place around those who trust in You. Lord, we ask that You surround our brother/sister and their loved one with Your heavenly hosts, guarding them from every scheme of the enemy. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from all harm (Psalm 34:7).
We stand on the truth of Your Word, which declares that if the Son sets us free, we are free indeed (John 8:36). Lord Jesus, we ask that You break every chain of bondage, oppression, and fear that seeks to entangle them. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, confusion, and torment in the authority of Your name. You came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we declare that every work of darkness in their lives is dismantled by the power of Your blood.
We cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24). By Your blood, they are redeemed from the hand of the enemy (Revelation 5:9). We plead the blood of Jesus over their minds, bodies, spirits, and every area of their lives. Let the blood of Jesus be a hedge of protection, a barrier that the enemy cannot penetrate. We declare that they overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to walk in victory. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the liberty by which Christ has made them free (Galatians 5:1). Remind them daily of Your love, Your power, and Your promises. Let them find their rest in You, knowing that You are their fortress and deliverer.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may recognize the enemy’s tactics and resist him steadfastly in the faith (1 Peter 5:9). Teach them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, so that they may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, depth, and height of Your love (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver and protect. May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of the freedom You have provided through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
