We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that there is a spiritual battle raging, and we stand with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to oppress, divide, and destroy, but we serve a God who is greater, a God who has already won the victory through the blood of His Son.
First, we must address the reality of spiritual warfare. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." It is not the person you have referenced who is your true enemy, but the powers of darkness working through them. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against you in Jesus' name. We declare that Satan has no authority or power over you, for you belong to Christ, and He has disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We stand on the truth of Zechariah 3:2, just as you have, and declare that the Lord rebuke Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem—who has chosen you—will not allow the enemy to have the final say. We pray that every financial stronghold used to oppress you be broken. We stand on Exodus 23:27, where God promises, "I will send my terror before you, and will confuse all the people to whom you come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you." Lord, we ask that You confuse and scatter every financial resource being used against Your child. Let no weapon formed in this area prosper, and let every tongue that rises against you in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for the complete uprooting of every area in this individual’s life that is being used by Satan. Isaiah 61:3 speaks of God giving "a garland instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness." We declare that every foothold the enemy has gained be torn down, and that the light of Christ shine into every dark corner. We pray for repentance and transformation, for it is not God’s will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). If this person is a believer, we pray for conviction and restoration. If not, we pray for their salvation, that they may come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
The strife and division you are experiencing is not of God. James 3:16 tells us, "For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed." We pray that God humble every heart involved, including your own, that pride would be broken and that unity in Christ would be restored where possible. We ask that God intervene in the alliance between your mother and this individual, for Psalm 68:1 declares, "Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him." We pray that every ungodly alliance be dismantled, and that God’s will be done in each of their lives.
We stand on Isaiah 59:19, which says, "So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives." Lord, we ask that You lift Your standard over this situation. Let Your glory and Your presence be a barrier against every form of oppression. We declare that no financial, emotional, or spiritual oppression will stand against you, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, just as you have done. Revelation 12:11 reminds us, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." We testify to the power of the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7) and breaks every chain. We declare that you are set free, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
Now, we lift our voices together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory that is already ours through the cross. We stand on the authority of Your Word and declare that every assignment of the enemy against Your child be dismantled. Lord, we ask that You rebuke Satan and every spirit of oppression, division, and strife. Scatter every financial stronghold being used to harm Your child, and let Your terror go before them, causing confusion in the camp of the enemy.
Father, we pray for repentance and transformation in the life of the one being used by the enemy. If they do not know You, draw them to Yourself. If they are a believer, convict them of sin and restore them to fellowship with You. Uproot every area of their life that is under the influence of darkness, and let Your light shine brightly. Humble every heart involved, including our own, that pride would be broken and Your will be done.
Lord, we ask that You dismantle every ungodly alliance, particularly the one between this individual’s mother and the one oppressing them. Let Your glory arise, and let Your enemies be scattered. Lift Your standard over this situation, and let no weapon formed against Your child prosper. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall them.
Father, we pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). Let them walk in the freedom and victory that is theirs in Christ. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and trusting in His promises. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He is faithful to fight on your behalf. Surround yourself with godly counsel and community, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone, and the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
