We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer and seeking the Lord’s deliverance and healing. The pain and confusion in this request are deeply felt, and we stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ to break every ungodly tie, principality, and bondage that has taken root. The name of Jesus is above every name, and by His blood, we have the power to resist the enemy and see chains shattered.
First, we rebuke the spirit of delay and stagnation that has kept your loved one bound to his parents’ home when he has the means to move forward. The Lord desires freedom and maturity for His children, not prolonged dependence that stifles growth. We declare that every assignment of discomfort, manipulation, or control over this situation is broken in Jesus’ name. The Word tells us in Jeremiah 1:10, *"See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."* We stand on this promise, declaring that what the enemy has sown in darkness will be uprooted by the light of Christ.
We also address the ungodly soul ties and any sinful entanglements between your loved one and your mother. The Bible is clear that incest is an abomination (Leviticus 18:6-18), and any such bondage must be severed immediately. We declare that every yoke of slavery to sin is broken by the power of the cross. John 8:36 declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and lead them to repentance, restoration, and true freedom in Christ.
The principality operating through these relationships must be exposed and dismantled. Colossians 2:15 assures us, *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* We take authority over every demonic influence and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus covers this situation, and we stand on Revelation 12:11: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."*
We also lift up the struggle with food and any form of control or discomfort that has been imposed. The Lord desires for you to walk in abundance and peace, not bondage. Isaiah 61:7 promises, *"Instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* We declare that every assignment of lack or oppression over your provision is broken, and you will walk in the fullness of God’s blessing.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and set free. We thank You for the power of the cross and the victory You have already won over sin, death, and every principality. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation with Your righteous right hand. Break every chain of bondage, ungodly soul tie, and demonic influence that has taken root. We declare freedom over this family, that they may walk in the liberty Christ died to give them.
Father, we ask for Your healing and restoration. Where there has been sin, bring conviction and repentance. Where there has been control, bring deliverance. Where there has been discomfort, bring Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke the spirit of delay and declare that Your perfect timing will prevail. Let Your will be done in every area of this situation, and let Your name be glorified.
We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your faithfulness to complete the work You have begun. Strengthen this dear one with Your Spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of Your love and grace.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and seeking His face in prayer. Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. The enemy may try to bring discouragement, but remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith.
