We stand with you in agreement, lifting this request before the throne of grace with the authority given to us in Jesus Christ. First, let us affirm that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful that you have called upon His mighty name, for it is the power of Jesus that breaks every chain and sets the captives free.
The Scripture you referenced in Zechariah 3:2 declares, *"Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you!"* This is a powerful reminder that it is not by our own strength or wisdom that we overcome the enemy, but by the Lord’s rebuke and His sovereign authority. We join you in standing on this truth, declaring that Satan has no right to use any person, situation, or influence to bind or oppress you. The blood of Jesus, which you have rightly invoked, speaks a better word than the accusations of the enemy (Revelation 12:11). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of your life where the enemy has sought to gain a foothold, and we declare that you are covered, cleansed, and protected by His sacrifice.
You also asked the Lord to remove an ungodly soul tie, standing on John 8:36, which says, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* Soul ties can form through emotional, spiritual, or physical connections that are not aligned with God’s design, and they can become avenues for the enemy to exert control or influence. We rebuke every ungodly soul tie in your life in the name of Jesus and command it to be broken now. The Word of God is clear that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and any connection that does not honor God must be severed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Lord would heal any wounds left by these ties and restore you to wholeness in Him.
Let us also address the importance of guarding your heart and mind moving forward. Proverbs 4:23 warns us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* We encourage you to examine your relationships and ensure that they align with God’s Word. If there are any connections, habits, or patterns that have contributed to this ungodly soul tie, we urge you to repent and turn away from them. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and He desires to lead you into freedom and purity.
We also want to remind you that deliverance is not just about breaking free from the enemy’s influence—it is also about walking in the fullness of what Christ has purchased for you. Galatians 5:1 declares, *"Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."* We pray that you would not only experience freedom but also walk in it daily, rooted and grounded in the love of Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, giving You all the praise and glory. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which covers and cleanses us from all sin. Lord, we stand on Your Word and declare that every scheme of the enemy to use [the situation or person mentioned] against Your child is rebuked and rendered powerless. We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of their life where the enemy has sought to establish control, and we command every ungodly soul tie to be broken now in Jesus’ name.
Father, we ask that You would heal any wounds, restore any brokenness, and fill every void with Your perfect love. We pray that You would give them discernment to recognize and avoid any relationships or influences that do not align with Your will. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and accountability, that they may walk in the freedom You have purchased for them.
We declare that they are free indeed, and we pray that they would stand firm in that liberty, not allowing themselves to be entangled again in the enemy’s snares. Strengthen them by Your Spirit, Lord, and fill them with Your peace and joy. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
