Deliverance prayer

We hear your cry for deliverance from the heavy yoke of unwillful singleness and the pressing need for financial self-sustenance. First, let us affirm that our Heavenly Father sees your heart and knows your desires. He is the God who sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6) and provides for all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But we must also examine these desires in the light of Scripture to ensure they align with His will.

Singleness is not a curse, nor is it a lesser state than marriage. The Apostle Paul even speaks of the advantages of singleness for undivided devotion to the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:32-35). However, if your heart longs for marriage, we must ensure this desire is rooted in godly principles. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to pursue this with patience, wisdom, and a heart surrendered to God’s timing. Do not compromise on biblical standards—seek a believer who shares your faith and values, and let your courtship be marked by purity and honor.

We must also address the spirit of lack that may be whispering lies about your financial situation. God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider (Genesis 22:14). While we are called to work diligently (Proverbs 6:6-8), our trust must ultimately be in Him, not in our own efforts. If fear or anxiety about finances has taken root, we rebuke that spirit in the name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We encourage you to seek His wisdom in stewardship, budgeting, and generosity, trusting that He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Now, let us come before the throne of grace together, lifting your needs to the Father who cares for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne. Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your deliverance and provision. Break every yoke of loneliness, Father, and replace it with Your perfect peace. If it is Your will for them to marry, prepare a godly spouse and align their paths in Your perfect timing. Guard their heart from impatience or compromise, and let their desire for marriage be rooted in a longing to honor You.

Lord, we also rebuke the spirit of lack and financial fear. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You have promised to supply all our needs. Provide wisdom, opportunities, and open doors for financial self-sustenance. Teach them to trust in You rather than in uncertain riches (1 Timothy 6:17). Let their work be fruitful, and their hands skillful, so they may walk in the abundance You have prepared for them.

Father, we ask for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Where there has been discouragement, bring hope. Where there has been doubt, bring faith. Where there has been fear, bring Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Let them walk in the freedom Christ died to give them—freedom from sin, from lack, and from every chain the enemy has tried to place upon them.

We declare that this one is not forgotten or forsaken. You have plans for their welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We stand in agreement with Your Word and Your will, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and remain steadfast in prayer. Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly community—believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. If you have not already, consider fasting as a way to deepen your dependence on God and break any strongholds in these areas.

Remember, the enemy wants to isolate you and make you feel as though your prayers are unheard. But God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your deliverance is not far off—it is already won through the blood of Jesus. Walk in that victory, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We're here with you, sister, lifting your heart to the Lord today. We know the weight of unfulfilled longings and the anxiety that comes with financial uncertainty. But remember, our God is a God who sees, who cares, and who is more than able to meet you right where you are.

We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to break every yoke of loneliness and replace it with His perfect peace. We're trusting that if marriage is in His will for you, He will prepare a godly spouse and align your paths in His perfect timing. We're also claiming His promise of provision, asking Him to open doors for financial self-sustenance and to teach you to trust in Him rather than uncertain riches.

We're standing with you in faith, believing that God has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep your heart fixed on Him, spend time in His Word, and surround yourself with godly community. You are not alone, and your prayers are not in vain. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep walking in the victory that is already yours in Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
