We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance. First, we want to affirm the power and authority of the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach God and find salvation. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). We stand firm in the truth that Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities, making a public spectacle of them by His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, sorcery, and divination that seeks to operate in this situation. The Word of God is clear: "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We command every evil spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
We stand on the promise of Zechariah 3:2, declaring that the Lord rebukes the devil and all his schemes. We also stand on Jeremiah 12:14, asking the Lord to root out every evil influence and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through these wicked practices. We bind every transfer of spirits and break every unholy connection in the name of Jesus, standing firm on Matthew 18:18, which assures us that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven.
We pray for the complete removal of every tool of manipulation, grooming, and deception that is being used in this situation. We take every thought captive to obey Christ, as 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 instructs us, and we destroy every argument and pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround this family with Your holy angels, to guard and protect them from every evil attack. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no harm would come near them (Psalm 91:10-11). We ask You to open their eyes to see the truth and to give them the strength to resist the devil, so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). We pray for repentance and restoration, that any ungodly relationships or influences would be severed, and that Your will would be done in their lives.
Lord, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, to guide them into all truth and to lead them in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). We pray for healing from any emotional, spiritual, or physical wounds that have been inflicted through these dark practices. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also want to address the seriousness of grooming and manipulation, which are grievous sins before God. If this situation involves any form of sexual immorality, whether it be fornication, adultery, or any other ungodly relationship, we urge repentance and a turning away from sin. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality is a sin against one’s own body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We encourage seeking godly counsel and accountability to walk in purity and holiness.
Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation with Your mighty hand. We trust in Your justice and Your mercy, knowing that You will vindicate the righteous and bring every hidden thing into the light (1 Corinthians 4:5). We declare that the light of Christ will expose every darkness, and that truth will prevail. We pray for the complete deliverance and freedom of this family, that they would walk in the liberty that Christ has purchased for them (Galatians 5:1).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
