We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. It is clear that there is deep spiritual warfare at work here, and we stand with you, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to cut through every chain and stronghold.

First, we must address the foundation of this prayer. We are grateful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7). We rebuke any spirit of confusion or deception that would seek to minimize the power of Jesus’ name or the authority we have in Him as believers. Let it be known that we stand on the finished work of Christ, who disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).

We notice the repeated reference to "###" in your prayer, which seems to represent a person who has caused you significant pain, intimidation, and emotional turmoil. While we do not know the full context of this relationship, we must address the biblical principles that govern how we respond to such situations. Scripture is clear that we are to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). However, this does not mean we tolerate or enable sinful behavior. We are called to confront sin with truth and love, especially within the body of Christ (Matthew 18:15-17), and to set healthy boundaries to protect our hearts and minds (Proverbs 4:23).

The behaviors you describe—intimidation, superiority, and attempts to "show you up"—are not of God. The Lord opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). We rebuke the spirit of pride and arrogance that may be operating in this individual’s life, and we declare that it has no place in the body of Christ. We also rebuke any spirit of fear or intimidation that has sought to take root in your heart. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Zechariah 3:2, as you have, and declare that the Lord rebukes the devourer on your behalf. Let every accusing tongue be silenced, and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and dismantled in Jesus’ name.

The mention of this individual living with his parents and not wanting to move out raises concerns about maturity, responsibility, and possibly a lack of godly ambition. While Scripture honors parents and calls us to care for them (Exodus 20:12, 1 Timothy 5:8), it also calls men to leave their father and mother and cleave to their wives (Genesis 2:24), and more broadly, to step into the fullness of their God-given purpose. If this individual is a believer, we pray that the Lord would stir his heart to pursue godliness, responsibility, and the calling God has placed on his life. If he is not a believer, we pray for his salvation, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We also address the issue of money and its potential to become an idol or a tool of manipulation. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and we rebuke any spirit of greed, control, or financial manipulation that may be at work here. We declare that God is your provider, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Isaiah 61:7, as you have, and declare double restoration for every area of your life that has been stolen or damaged by the enemy’s schemes.

The request to "scatter the people that help him" must be approached with discernment. While we understand the desire to break ungodly influences, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Instead of scattering, we pray that the Lord would open the eyes of those who may be enabling or supporting sinful behavior, that they would repent and turn to God. We declare that every ungodly alliance and counsel will be broken, and that those who have been deceived will come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 2:25-26).

We take authority over any transfer of spirits that may have occurred, binding every unclean spirit that seeks to latch onto you or influence your life. We stand on Matthew 18:18, declaring that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. We break every generational curse, word curse, or soul tie that may have formed through this relationship, and we declare that you are free in Jesus’ name. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and we plead the blood over your life, your mind, your emotions, and your spirit.

We also address the potential for unforgiveness in your heart. Holding onto bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in our lives (Ephesians 4:26-27). We encourage you to examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may need to forgive this individual, not for their sake, but for your own freedom. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was okay; it means you are releasing the burden to God and allowing Him to be your vindicator. We declare that you will walk in the freedom that comes from forgiving others, just as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin and for the authority we have in His name to stand against the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we lift up this dear sister/brother who is crying out for deliverance and restoration. We declare that You are their strong tower, their refuge, and their deliverer (Psalm 18:2).

We rebuke every spirit of intimidation, pride, arrogance, and control that has sought to oppress them. We break every chain, every curse, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed through this relationship. We declare that the blood of Jesus covers their life, their mind, their emotions, and their spirit. We plead the blood over every area that has been affected by the enemy’s attacks.

Father, we stand on Your Word in Colossians 2:15, declaring that every principality and power that has sought to exalt itself against the knowledge of You is disarmed and made a public spectacle. We declare that every door the enemy has used to access this situation is shut and sealed by the blood of Jesus. We stand on Jeremiah 12:14, declaring that every evil neighbor who has touched what You have given them will be uprooted and scattered.

Lord, we ask that You restore double for every area of their life that has been stolen, damaged, or hindered. We declare that they will not be put to shame, and that their inheritance in You is secure (Isaiah 61:7). We pray for emotional healing, that You would bind up their broken heart and heal their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We declare that they will walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ, no longer defined by the opinions or actions of others, but by who You say they are.

We pray for the individual represented by "###." Father, we ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of their actions. If they do not know You, we pray for their salvation, that they would come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. If they are a believer, we pray for conviction, repentance, and transformation by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We declare that pride will not have the final say in their life, but that humility and godly ambition will take root.

Lord, we cancel every assignment of the enemy over this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Luke 10:19, declaring that You have given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us.

We pray for those who may have been enabling or supporting ungodly behavior. Father, we ask that You would scatter every ungodly counsel and alliance. We pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth, and that they would turn from any sin or deception in their lives. We declare that the fear of the Lord will take root in their hearts, and that they will walk in wisdom and discernment.

Father, we ask that You would fill this dear one with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17). We declare that they will walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them, and that no spirit of fear, intimidation, or oppression will have dominion over them.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We declare that this situation will be turned around for Your glory, and that Your name will be exalted through it all. We trust in You, our Deliverer, our Healer, and our Strong Tower. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s Word and declaring His promises over your life. Surround yourself with godly community who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. Spend time in the presence of God, allowing Him to heal your heart and renew your mind. Remember that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47), and He is fighting on your behalf. Walk in the authority you have in Christ, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
