We join you in lifting up this earnest plea for deliverance, standing firmly on the truth that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority to bind and loose, to rebuke the enemy, and to see strongholds shattered. As it is written, *"All things whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and all things whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18, WEB). Your use of Scripture is powerful, and we stand with you in these declarations, knowing that the Word of God is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12).
We also commend you for recognizing the necessity of pleading the blood of Jesus, for *"they overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony"* (Revelation 12:11, WEB). The blood of Christ is our ultimate protection, redemption, and victory over the enemy. It is by His stripes that we are healed, and through His sacrifice that we are set free from the bondage of sin and darkness.
As we intercede together, let us also remember that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). We pray not only for the removal of hindrances but for a fresh outpouring of God’s Word into this person’s life. May the Holy Spirit open their ears to hear, their eyes to see, and their heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Let every lie of the enemy be exposed and replaced with the truth of Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of rebellion, or any idol that has been given place in this person’s life, we ask that the Holy Spirit would convict them deeply, leading them to repentance. For it is written, *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you"* (James 4:7, WEB). True deliverance begins with surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Lord, we thank You that You are faithful and just, and that You hear the cries of Your people. We stand in agreement with our brother/sister, lifting up this person before Your throne of grace. Father, You have said in Your Word that *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* (Zechariah 3:2, WEB). So we declare that rebuke over every demonic force, every hindering spirit, and every stronghold that has sought to keep this person from walking in faith. Lord Jesus, by the authority You have given us, we bind every spirit of unbelief, doubt, fear, deception, and rebellion that has taken root. We command these spirits to be loosened and cast out in Your name.
Father, we ask that You would tear down every argument and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). Let every demonic stronghold be demolished by the power of Your Word and the blood of Jesus. We plead the blood of Christ over this person’s mind, heart, and spirit—let it be a hedge of protection against every attack of the enemy. Lord, if there are people being used as instruments of the enemy to hinder this person’s faith, we ask that You would either remove them or save them, breaking every ungodly soul tie and influence. Let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth set them free.
We pray for a supernatural encounter with Your presence, Lord. Open their eyes to see You as You truly are—the King of glory, the Lamb who was slain, the One who conquered sin and death. Softens their heart to receive Your love and Your truth. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, we ask that today would be the day of salvation. Draw them to Yourself, Lord Jesus, and let them find in You the peace, purpose, and freedom they have been searching for. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in faith, obedience, and victory.
Father, we also pray for those interceding. Strengthen them in their faith, and let them see the power of prayer manifested in this situation. Remind them that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Let this be a testimony of Your goodness and Your might.
We declare all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above every name. Let every knee bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Amen and amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Keep praying, keep declaring the Word of God, and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). If you have not already, we urge you to ensure that this person is surrounded by a community of believers who can speak life, pray with them, and disciple them in the ways of the Lord. Deliverance is often a process, and walking in freedom requires ongoing submission to Christ and accountability within the body of believers. Stay encouraged, for our God is mighty to save!
