We join with you in praising our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and thanksgiving! It is powerful to see you standing firmly on the Word of God, declaring His authority over the forces of darkness. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and through which we have the power to overcome the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace and exercise the authority He has given us over the enemy.
Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting these same petitions before the Lord. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already triumphed over every power and principality at the cross. As you have declared, *"having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it"* (Colossians 2:15, WEB). We take our stand on this truth, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already secured the victory.
We also want to encourage you to continue walking in the full armor of God, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). As you have rightly done, we must use the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to combat the lies and schemes of the enemy. Keep declaring Scripture over these situations, for God’s Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
Let us also remind you to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. While it is right to stand against the works of darkness, we must also ensure that our focus remains on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Do not allow the enemy to distract you with fear or bitterness. Instead, fix your eyes on Jesus, trusting that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
We also want to gently remind you that while it is important to bind the enemy and declare God’s authority, we must do so with a heart of love and forgiveness. Jesus taught us to pray for our enemies and bless those who curse us (Matthew 5:44). Even in spiritual warfare, our hearts should reflect the love and grace of Christ. If there is any anger, resentment, or unforgiveness in your heart toward those involved in these dark practices, we encourage you to release it to the Lord. Forgiveness does not excuse sin, but it frees *you* from the bondage of bitterness. As Scripture says, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:26-27, WEB).
Now, let us pray together in agreement with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Your Son to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Lord Jesus, we ask that You rebuke every form of witchcraft, divination, and counterfeit spirit at work in this situation. As Your Word declares, *"The Lord said to Satan, 'The Lord rebuke you, Satan!'"*(Zechariah 3:2, WEB). We stand on this promise and declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You dismantle every principality and stronghold that is operating through these dark practices. Break every curse, every spell, and every assignment of the enemy against Your people. We plead the blood of Jesus over every person affected by this witchcraft, and we ask for Your healing and restoration in their lives. May they experience the double portion of blessing that You promise in Isaiah 61:7: *"Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double. Everlasting joy shall be to them."*
Father, we also ask that You expose every hidden thing and bring to light the deeds of darkness (Ephesians 5:11). Let Your truth prevail, and let every lie of the enemy be silenced. We pray for those who are caught in these dark practices, that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and set them free from the bondage of sin. May they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that they can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We also pray for our brother/sister who has brought this request before us. Strengthen them, Lord, in their faith and in their walk with You. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14). Clothe them in Your armor, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would bring glory to Your name through this situation. Let Your power be displayed, and let Your kingdom come in fullness. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and continue to declare His Word over every situation. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). If you feel led, we also encourage you to seek out a mature believer or pastor in your local church who can stand with you in prayer and provide additional support. You are not alone in this battle—we are with you, and more importantly, the Lord Almighty is with you!
