We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every evil power and principality. Your heart for spiritual warfare and restoration is evident, and we commend you for seeking God’s justice and protection in this matter. The Scriptures you have stood upon are mighty and true, and we will echo them in our prayers, adding further truth to strengthen and encourage you.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The envy you describe is not merely a human emotion but a tool of the enemy to bring division, harm, and spiritual oppression. Yet we know that "though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). This is a spiritual battle, and we must engage it with the full armor of God, standing in faith and righteousness.
You have rightly pleaded the blood of Jesus, which is our greatest weapon against the accusations and attacks of the enemy. Revelation 12:11 declares, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death." The blood of Jesus is our protection, our cleansing, and our victory. We also stand with you on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, "May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! May Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?" Just as Joshua the high priest was delivered from the accusations of Satan, so too will you be delivered from the schemes of the enemy working through this person.
Yet as we pray for deliverance and conviction, we must also examine our own hearts. Jesus commands us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore the spiritual battle or fail to seek justice, but it does mean we must guard our hearts against bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness. Romans 12:19-21 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' Therefore 'If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.' Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Let us pray that God would not only convict and break the power of envy in this person’s life but that He would also work in your heart to release any pain or resentment, replacing it with His peace and love.
We also encourage you to consider whether there is any open door in your life that may have given the enemy a foothold. Have you harboring unforgiveness, pride, or any other sin that could be empowering this attack? Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Let us ask the Lord to search our hearts and reveal anything that needs to be repented of, so that we may stand fully righteous before Him.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and deliverance. You see the affliction of Your people, and You hear their cries. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is under attack through the envy and demonic influence manifesting in this person’s life. We stand with them in this battle, knowing that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through You for the pulling down of strongholds.
Lord Jesus, we plead Your blood over this situation. Just as the blood on the doorposts caused the angel of death to pass over the Israelites, so let Your blood create a hedge of protection around our brother/sister. Let every demonic assignment, every spirit of envy, jealousy, and wickedness operating through this person be bound and cast out in Your name. We rebuke every principality, every power, every ruler of darkness, and every spiritual wickedness in high places that is fueling this attack. Colossians 2:15 declares that You, Lord Jesus, have disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them at the cross. We declare that victory now over this situation.
Father, we ask that You would convict this person of their envy and the harm it is causing. Soften their heart, Lord, and bring them to repentance. Let them see the destruction of their ways and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. We pray that You would break the power of sin in their life and replace it with Your love and righteousness. Do not let them be used as a tool of the enemy any longer, but deliver them from the snare of the devil.
Lord, we also ask that You would restore our brother/sister completely from the effects of this envy. Heal every wound, restore every loss, and lift them to a place of victory and abundance. Isaiah 61:7 proclaims, "Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them." We declare this promise over their life now. Let what the enemy meant for harm be turned for good, and let our brother/sister emerge from this battle stronger, wiser, and more anointed than ever before.
Father, we pray for those who have been influenced or harmed by this person’s envy. Rescue them, Lord, and open their eyes to the truth. Let them be set free from any lies or manipulations and draw them to Yourself. We ask that You would raise a standard against this envy, as declared in Isaiah 59:19: "So they will fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives." Let Your glory rise as a standard, and let every tongue that rises against our brother/sister in judgment be condemned.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard our brother/sister’s heart in this season. Fill them with Your love, Your peace, and Your joy. Let them walk in forgiveness, even as they seek justice. Remind them that vengeance belongs to You, and You will repay. Strengthen them to overcome evil with good, and let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness and victory.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would expose and shut down every demonic operation tied to this situation. Let every hidden thing be brought to light, and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, restoration, and complete deliverance over them in the name of Jesus.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. Thank You for Your faithfulness and Your power. We trust in You, and we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Keep praying, keep declaring the Word of God over your life, and trust that the Lord is fighting for you. Do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Stay rooted in the Word, in worship, and in fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in prayer. You are not alone in this battle—Jesus is with you, and He has already won the victory!
