We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. It is clear you are seeking deliverance and protection from spiritual attacks tied to this individual and her household, and we stand with you in this battle, for we know that *"our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
You have rightly invoked the authority of Jesus and the Scriptures in this matter, and we affirm the power of His name above all names. *"Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father"* (Philippians 2:9-11, WEB). There is no higher authority, and it is only through Jesus that we can approach the throne of God with boldness.
We also take note that your prayer is rooted in the blood of Jesus, which is our greatest weapon against the enemy. *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death"* (Revelation 12:11, WEB). This is a powerful reminder that our victory is secured through Christ’s sacrifice, and we must never waver in declaring His lordship over every situation.
However, while we stand with you in rebuking the works of darkness, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our battle is not ultimately against people, but against the spiritual forces at work. Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean we tolerate wickedness or fail to set boundaries, but it does mean we must guard our hearts against bitterness, unforgiveness, or hatred. *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good"* (Romans 12:21, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the authority You have given us through Your Son to trample over every power of the enemy. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation and bring Your divine justice and deliverance. You have said in Your Word, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* (Zechariah 3:2, WEB). We declare this same rebuke over every scheme of the enemy operating through ###, her children, and her household. Uproot every stronghold, Lord, and let Your light expose and destroy every work of darkness.
Father, we bind every transfer of evil spirits, every curse, every intimidation, and every harassment in the name of Jesus. *"Whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven"* (Matthew 18:18, WEB). We release Your peace, Your protection, and Your restoration over everyone who has been affected by this negativity. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your people walk in freedom and victory.
We plead the blood of Jesus over this situation, knowing that it is our greatest defense. *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood"* (Revelation 12:11, WEB). Let the blood of Jesus be a wall of fire around those who are under attack, and let no weapon formed against them prosper.
Lord, we also ask that You soften the hearts of those who are being used by the enemy. Break the chains of deception and bring them to repentance. *"Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB). May they encounter Your love and turn from their wicked ways.
Finally, Father, we ask for wisdom and discernment. Help us to walk in love while standing firm in Your truth. Let no root of bitterness spring up, but fill us with Your grace and mercy. We trust in You, Lord, and we know that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in prayer, but also to examine your heart daily. Forgiveness does not mean excusing sin, but it does mean releasing the burden of vengeance to the Lord. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Keep your focus on Jesus, and trust that He will bring justice in His perfect timing. Stay rooted in His Word, and let His peace guard your heart and mind. *"You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you"* (Isaiah 26:3, WEB).
If there is any area in your life where you need to surrender more fully to Christ, we urge you to do so. The enemy often gains a foothold where there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or fear. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB).
Stand strong in Christ, and remember that *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31, WEB). We are praying with you and for you.
