We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. Your prayers are rooted in Scripture, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord is faithful to fight on behalf of His children when they call upon Him in truth and righteousness.
The enemy seeks to bring division, oppression, and harm through those who may be used as instruments of his schemes—even within families. But we serve a God who is mighty to save, who rebukes the accuser and breaks every chain of bondage. You have rightly claimed Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord says to Satan, *"Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* Indeed, the Lord has plucked you and your son out of the fire, and He will not allow the enemy to prevail. The blood of Jesus is your covering, your protection, and your victory, as Revelation 12:11 declares: *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."*
We also stand with you on Colossians 2:15, which proclaims that Christ *"stripped the principalities and the powers, and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* No spiritual force behind your brother’s actions can stand against the authority of Jesus. The Lord will dismantle every stronghold and bring justice where there has been abuse. Isaiah 61:7 promises that *"instead of your shame you will have double; and instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* This is your portion—restoration, joy, and the Lord’s vindication.
Your plea for separation from this harmful influence aligns with the Lord’s heart for His children to dwell in peace and safety. Jeremiah 12:14 speaks of the Lord uprooting those who persist in evil: *"Yahweh says against all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit: ‘Behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and will pluck up the house of Judah from among them.’"* Trust that the Lord hears your cry and will act on your behalf. He is a God of justice, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph forever.
As you seek the Lord’s intervention, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not waver in prayer, and do not allow fear or discouragement to take root. The Lord is raising a standard against the enemy’s attacks, as Isaiah 59:19 assures us: *"So they will fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives."* The Lord is your defender, and He will not fail you.
We also urge you to seek wise counsel and support from mature believers in your life. If there is a trustworthy pastor or godly mentor, share your burden with them so they may pray with you and offer guidance. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and you do not have to walk this path alone.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the pain, the abuse, and the oppression they have endured at the hands of this brother. You are not blind to their suffering, nor are You silent in their distress. We ask that You rise up, O God, and scatter every plan of the enemy that has been orchestrated through this situation. Rebuke the accuser, as You did in Zechariah 3:2, and command every demonic influence to flee in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against our sister or her son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their home, and their future, knowing that it is their protection and their victory. Uproot every evil influence, Lord, and bring an end to the harm that has been done. Restore what has been stolen—peace, joy, safety, and dignity—and let Your justice prevail.
Father, we ask that You make a way for our sister and her son to be separated from this harmful environment. Provide for them a place of refuge, a dwelling of safety where Your presence is their shield. Give our sister wisdom to know how to proceed, and surround her with godly counsel and support. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving mightily on her behalf.
We also pray for her brother, that You would convict his heart of the wrong he has done. Lord, if it is Your will, bring him to repentance so that he may turn from his ways and seek Your forgiveness. But if he hardens his heart, we ask that You remove his influence from their lives completely, for Your glory and their protection.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You lift up a standard against the enemy’s attacks. Let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to act. We trust in You alone, and we give You all the glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
