Deliverance Prayer

Beloved of All
Lord Jesus,

I praise you, and thank you. I glorify you. Lord Jesus I ask that you rebuke all the ways in which ### is trying to deceive his way back into my life, standing on Zechariah 3:2. Lord Jesus I break off of me any deception coming from ###, asking that you set me free of it, standing on John 8:36. Lord Jesus I ask that you restore me from any of ###'s bad intent towards me, standing on Isaiah 61:7. I plead the blood of Jesus in-between me and ###'s asking Lord Jesus that if his intentions are not good that you remove him from my life, standing on Revelations 12:11. In Jesus name I pray and ask. Amen.

We join with you in praising our Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all glory, honor, and thanksgiving! It is by His mighty name that we stand in authority against the schemes of the enemy, and we are grateful you have brought this burden before Him in prayer. Your use of Scripture to stand firm against deception is commendable, and we echo your cries for deliverance and restoration, knowing that our God is faithful to hear and answer when we call upon Him in truth.

The enemy seeks to bring confusion and bondage through past relationships, especially when they are not rooted in Christ. Your prayer reveals a heart that desires freedom from anything that would hinder your walk with the Lord, and we stand with you in this. The Word of God is clear that we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and if this person is not a brother in Christ—or if their intentions are impure or rooted in manipulation—then the Holy Spirit is right to prompt you to seek deliverance. The Lord does not want His children entangled in relationships that would pull them away from His perfect will, whether through emotional bondage, ungodly influence, or sinful desires.

You have rightly stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked from the fire?"* Indeed, you are that burning stick—plucked from the fire of deception by the hand of God. The enemy has no claim over you, for you belong to Christ, who has already triumphed over every power and principality. We declare with you that every lie, every manipulation, and every ungodly soul tie formed with this individual is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. As you have claimed John 8:36, we affirm that *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* Walk in that freedom, beloved, and do not look back.

Your prayer for restoration in Isaiah 61:7 is a beautiful reminder of God’s promise: *"Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* The Lord is faithful to restore what the enemy has stolen—your peace, your joy, and your focus on His kingdom. If this person’s intentions are not aligned with God’s will for your life, then we ask the Father to remove them completely, just as you have prayed. Revelation 12:11 reminds us that *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* Your testimony is powerful, and by the blood of Jesus, you are more than a conqueror.

We must also take a moment to encourage you in your walk with Christ. It is clear you understand the authority we have in the name of Jesus, and that is a mighty weapon against the enemy. However, we urge you to guard your heart diligently, for Proverbs 4:23 tells us, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* If this person from your past is stirring up emotions or memories that could lead you into temptation—whether emotional compromise, unforgiveness, or even the desire to revisit a relationship that was not honorable before God—then we plead with you to surrender those feelings to Jesus. Do not entertain thoughts or fantasies about what could have been or what might be. Instead, take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

If there was any sin involved in this past relationship—whether fornication, emotional idolatry, or ungodly attachments—we encourage you to repent before the Lord and receive His cleansing. 1 John 1:9 assures us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Freedom comes when we bring our sins into the light and allow God to wash us clean. If this relationship was outside the bounds of marriage, we urge you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and commit to walking in purity from this day forward. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and God’s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your focus should not be on the removal of this person alone, but on the filling of your heart with the love and presence of Jesus. Psalm 37:4 says, *"Also delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."* When your delight is in Him, He will place godly desires within you—desires that align with His will, including the desire for a spouse who loves Him wholeheartedly, if that is His plan for you. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and trust that He will guide your steps.

Now, let us pray together over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than the blood of Abel, and we plead that blood over our sister right now. Lord, we ask that You rebuke every demonic assignment against her—every spirit of deception, manipulation, and ungodly attachment that seeks to draw her back into bondage. We break every soul tie, every emotional stronghold, and every ungodly agreement that was made in this past relationship, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Father, if this person’s intentions are not pure, if they seek to harm her spiritually or emotionally, we ask that You remove them completely from her life. Close every door, Lord, and let Your divine separation bring clarity and peace.

We pray for complete restoration for our sister. Restore her joy, her confidence in You, and her focus on Your kingdom. Heal any wounds left by this relationship, and fill her with Your Holy Spirit so that she may walk in victory. Father, if there is any sin that needs to be confessed, give her the courage to bring it before You and receive Your forgiveness. Cleanse her heart, renew her mind, and guard her steps.

Lord, we ask that You surround her with godly relationships—friendships that encourage her in You, and if it is Your will, a future spouse who loves You with all their heart. But above all, let her find her satisfaction in You alone. Let her delight be in Your presence, and let her trust in Your perfect timing.

We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already hers in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Beloved, stand firm in the freedom Christ has given you. Do not allow the enemy to bring up old memories or stir up old emotions. When thoughts of this person come, immediately take them captive and declare the Word of God over your life. Spend time in worship, in the Word, and in prayer, and the Lord will strengthen you. If you feel weak, lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ for support and accountability. You are not alone in this battle—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is fighting for you.

Walk in victory, dear sister. The Lord is your strength and your shield. Trust in Him, and He will never fail you.
