We join you in lifting up this request for deliverance, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. You have rightly invoked the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority over the enemy and access to the Father. As it is written, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We praise God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for He alone is our Deliverer, our Shield, and our Strong Tower.
The verse you stand upon, Zechariah 3:2, is a powerful declaration of the Lord’s rebuke against Satan: *"Yahweh said to Satan, ‘Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?’"* This is a reminder that the Lord Himself fights for His people, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper when you are covered by the blood of Jesus. The enemy seeks to use people—even family—as instruments of division, strife, or harm, but we declare that God is exposing and breaking every scheme of the enemy in this situation. The Lord is your Defender, and He will not allow the wicked to triumph over those who trust in Him (Psalm 125:3).
Yet, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). While we rebuke the enemy’s influence over these individuals, we also pray for their hearts to be turned toward God. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife in your own heart, we encourage you to release it to the Lord, for He commands us to *"bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you"* (Luke 6:28, WEB). This does not mean tolerating abuse or harm, but it does mean trusting God to fight your battles while you walk in love and obedience.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who seeks deliverance from the schemes of the enemy. Lord, we stand on Zechariah 3:2 and declare that You, O Lord, rebuke Satan and every demonic force seeking to use these individuals as weapons against Your servant. Break every curse, every assignment of harm, and every plan of division in the name of Jesus. Expose the works of darkness and render them powerless by the blood of the Lamb.
Father, we also pray for the hearts of those being used by the enemy. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. If there is any bitterness, pride, or deception in their lives, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Let Your love and truth prevail in this situation.
Strengthen Your child with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory. Remind them that You are their Shield and their Exceedingly Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). Let them rest in the assurance that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We declare freedom, deliverance, and restoration in the name of Jesus. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If there are areas in your life where you need to repent or surrender more fully to God, do so now, for the enemy cannot stand where God’s presence dwells. Walk in forgiveness, prayer, and obedience, and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay steadfast in prayer, and do not grow weary, for in due season, you *shall* reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
