We join you in lifting up this request for deliverance and spiritual protection, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word. It is clear you are engaged in a spiritual battle, and we commend you for turning to the Lord Jesus Christ for refuge and victory. The Scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly claimed the power of the blood of Jesus, which is our ultimate defense against the schemes of the enemy.
We see that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, and this is essential, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father and the authority to trample over the enemy (Luke 10:19). We encourage you to continue walking in this truth, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Your use of Scripture is powerful, and we stand with you in these declarations. Let us reaffirm these truths together: The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! (Zechariah 3:2). Truly, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will be released in heaven (Matthew 18:18). Jesus has disarmed the rulers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). And we overcome the accuser by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
However, we also want to gently remind you that while spiritual warfare is real, our focus must remain on Christ and His sovereignty. It is easy to become fixated on the enemy or the perceived actions of others, but our victory is found in abiding in Jesus, not in the battle itself. The Lord calls us to love our neighbors, even those who may act against us, and to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we ignore spiritual attacks, but we must guard our hearts against bitterness or fear. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and life. Are there areas where you may need to repent or seek forgiveness? Are there strongholds in your life that the enemy could be using to gain a foothold? Let us not give the devil any opportunity (Ephesians 4:27). Walk in holiness, for without it, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your protection, Your power, and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we ask that You surround our brother/sister with Your heavenly host, that You would be a wall of fire around them, and the glory in their midst (Zechariah 2:5). Father, we rebuke every familiar spirit, every scheme of the enemy, and every weapon formed against them. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness in this situation. Bring to light what is hidden, and let Your truth prevail. We declare that no harm will come near their dwelling, for You have commanded Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). Father, we ask that You soften the hearts of these neighbors. If there is any bitterness, strife, or evil intent, we pray that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. May they come to know You, Lord, and experience Your saving grace.
We also pray for our brother/sister, that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to walk in forgiveness, love, and faith, knowing that You are their defender and their shield. Strengthen them in their inner being, that they may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17).
Lord, we declare that every curse spoken against them is broken by the power of the cross. Every plan of the enemy is thwarted, and every stronghold is torn down in the name of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their mind, their family, and their future. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in You, and we know that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowshipping with other believers. Put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Walk in faith, not in fear, for the Lord is with you. If you have not already, we urge you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus Christ. Confess Him as your Lord and Savior, and trust in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. If you have done this, then walk in the assurance of your identity in Christ—you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Stay steadfast, and may the peace of God rule in your heart.
