We join you in lifting up this burden to the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all deliverance and victory are found. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we commend you for standing on the promises of God as you seek His intervention in this long-standing trial. It is clear that the enemy has used this sister’s bitterness as a tool to bring harassment, condemnation, and spiritual oppression into your life. But we declare with you that the Lord is your defender, and He will not allow the accusations of the enemy to stand against His child.
The Scripture reminds us in Zechariah 3:2, *"Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'"* Just as the Lord rebuked Satan for his accusations against Joshua the high priest, He will rebuke every accusation and harassment coming against you. The enemy seeks to keep you bound in the past, but the Lord has declared that you are a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17). What happened over a decade ago has already been covered by the blood of Jesus—if you have repented and sought His forgiveness, then you are forgiven, and no one has the right to continue holding those things over you. The Lord says in Isaiah 43:25, *"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins."*
You have also rightly stood on 2 Timothy 4:18, which assures us, *"The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen."* This is your promise—He *will* deliver you. The Lord sees the manipulation and hatred being directed toward you, and He will expose the intentions of this woman’s heart. Proverbs 26:24-26 warns, *"A malicious man disguises himself with his lips, but he harbors evil in his heart. When his speech is charming, don’t believe him; for there are seven abominations in his heart. His malice may be concealed by deception, but his wickedness will be exposed in the assembly."* The Lord will not allow her schemes to prosper. He will place godly people in her path to speak truth into her life, and He will open the eyes of those she seeks to manipulate so they may discern her motives and walk away.
We also stand with you on Isaiah 61:7, which proclaims, *"Instead of your shame you will have double honor. Instead of confusion they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* The Lord is restoring what has been stolen from you—your peace, your joy, and your reputation. The harassment you have endured will be turned into a testimony of God’s faithfulness and deliverance. The strongholds of bitterness, obsession, and hatred that have taken root in this woman’s heart will be torn down by the power of God, for we know that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ"* (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).
You have declared forgiveness toward this woman, and that is a powerful and necessary step. Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold, but you have chosen to release her to the Lord, trusting Him to deal with her heart. We encourage you to continue praying for her salvation and deliverance, for Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must endure her abuse or allow her to continue harassing you, but it does mean releasing her to God and trusting Him to bring conviction and repentance to her heart.
We must also address the fact that this situation stems from a past relationship with her brother. If this relationship was outside of marriage, we urge you to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and cleansing for any sin that may have occurred during that time. The Bible is clear that sexual immorality—including fornication—is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and while God’s grace covers all sin when we repent, it is important to acknowledge it before Him and turn away from it. If this relationship was marked by sin, we encourage you to renounce it and ask the Lord to wash you clean, for *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). The enemy often uses past sin to bring condemnation, but the blood of Jesus has already paid the price for your redemption. You are free, and no weapon formed against you—including the accusations of this woman—shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who has been enduring the harassment and bitterness of this woman for far too long. Lord, You see the pain, the manipulation, and the hatred that has been directed toward her, and we ask that You intervene supernaturally on her behalf. Father, we stand on Zechariah 3:2 and declare that You rebuke every accusation, every lie, and every scheme of the enemy that has been operating through this woman. Silence the voice of condemnation, Lord, and let Your truth prevail.
We ask that You expose the darkness in this woman’s heart and bring conviction upon her. Softening her heart, Lord, and lead her to repentance. If she does not know You, we pray that You draw her to Yourself, that she may encounter the love of Christ and be set free from the bitterness that has consumed her. But if she refuses to turn from her ways, Father, we ask that You remove her influence from our sister’s life. Place a hedge of protection around our sister, Lord, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for divine restoration in every area where this harassment has caused pain—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. Restore to our sister double for her trouble, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 61:7. Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness and deliverance. Break every stronghold of fear, anxiety, or oppression that the enemy has tried to place upon her, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the people this woman has tried to manipulate against our sister. Open their eyes, Lord, to see the truth. Give them discernment to recognize her motives and the wisdom to walk away from her influence. Surround our sister with godly men and women who will stand in the gap for her, who will speak life into her, and who will pray with her for complete deliverance.
Father, we thank You that our sister has chosen forgiveness, and we ask that You continue to work in her heart to release any lingering resentment or pain. Heal her, Lord, from the wounds of the past, and let her walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for her. We declare that she is no longer bound by the sins of her past, for she is a new creation in Christ Jesus. Let her identity be firmly rooted in You, and let her confidence be in Your love and acceptance, not in the opinions or accusations of man.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You bring an end to this woman’s fixation and obsession with our sister’s life. Cut the ungodly soul ties that have kept her bound in bitterness, and set our sister free from her influence once and for all. We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, knowing that no power of the enemy can stand against the authority of His name.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your justice, Your protection, and Your deliverance. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in the Lord, putting on the full armor of God each day (Ephesians 6:10-18). Do not engage with this woman’s accusations or allow her words to take root in your heart. Instead, speak the Word of God over your life and trust that He is fighting for you. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that *"no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it"* (1 Corinthians 10:13).
If this woman’s harassment continues or escalates, we also advise you to seek wise counsel from your pastor or a trusted believer who can provide support and, if necessary, help you take practical steps to protect yourself. The Lord often uses His people to bring about His purposes, so do not hesitate to reach out for help.
We are standing with you in this, and we believe that the Lord is moving on your behalf. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring His Word over your life. Victory is yours in Christ Jesus!
