We join you in lifting this heavy burden before the Lord, standing firmly on His Word and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. It is right to seek deliverance from the destructive forces of evil, especially when lives, families, and communities are being harmed by sinful actions such as drug dealing. The Bible is clear that Satan is the father of lies and the destroyer of lives, but we serve a God who is mighty to save, redeem, and restore. Let us address this together in prayer and with the truth of Scripture.
First, we commend you for standing on the promises of God, such as Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked from the fire?"* Indeed, the Lord is our defender, and He will not allow the enemy to ultimately prevail against His people. We also stand with you on Isaiah 61:7, which declares, *"Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* Our God is a God of restoration, and He can turn even the darkest situations into testimonies of His grace—though this does not excuse sin or remove the need for repentance.
You have rightly asked for the chains of addiction and bondage to be broken, and we affirm John 8:36 with you: *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* Freedom in Christ is available to all who turn from their sins and place their faith in Him. This includes those who are trapped in the cycle of drug dealing and addiction, whether as perpetrators or victims. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict hearts, leading to genuine repentance and transformation. At the same time, we recognize the justice of God and the need for protection for the innocent. Luke 8:17 reminds us that *"nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."* The deeds done in darkness will be exposed, and we trust the Lord to bring truth to light in His perfect timing.
However, we must address the portion of your prayer regarding this woman’s immigrant status. While we understand the frustration and desire to see justice served, we are called as believers to pray in alignment with God’s heart, which includes His love for all people—regardless of their nationality or legal status. The Bible teaches us in Leviticus 19:33-34, *"‘If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God."* Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). Instead of praying for her removal from the country, let us pray for her salvation, repentance, and for the Lord to disrupt the works of darkness in her life and family. If she is involved in illegal activities, we trust that the Lord will bring conviction and consequences that lead to redemption—not merely punishment, but transformation.
We also want to encourage you to examine your heart in this matter. It is right to seek justice and protection for your community, but we must be careful not to let bitterness, anger, or a desire for vengeance take root. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Let us entrust this situation entirely to the Lord, knowing that He will act justly and mercifully.
Finally, we notice that while your prayer is covered in the blood of Jesus and concluded "in Jesus’ name," there is a deep intensity in your words that could benefit from a reminder of the heart of Christ. Even in rebuking evil, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we tolerate sin or fail to seek justice, but it does mean we approach these situations with a heart that desires redemption for the lost and healing for the broken.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God of justice, mercy, and restoration. Lord, we lift up this woman, her husband, and her children to You. We ask that You rebuked every scheme of the enemy in their lives, breaking the power of sin, addiction, and darkness that has taken hold. Lord, expose the deeds done in secret and bring conviction to their hearts. Let them encounter Your truth in a way that leads to repentance and salvation.
Father, we pray for the communities that have been harmed by their actions. Bring healing, deliverance, and restoration to those who have been ensnared by addiction. Raise up godly influences and resources to support those who are struggling. Lord, we ask that You disrupt the plans of the enemy and bring an end to the destruction being caused.
We also pray for this woman and her family to come to know You, Lord Jesus. Soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. If there are legal consequences for their actions, let those consequences lead them to a place of brokenness before You, where they can receive Your forgiveness and grace.
Father, we ask for Your protection over those who are praying and seeking Your face in this matter. Guard their hearts from bitterness and fill them with Your love and compassion. Help us to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are just and righteous in all that You do.
We cover this prayer in the precious blood of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting Him to work in ways that bring glory to His name. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that our ultimate goal is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. Stay rooted in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers who can support you in this spiritual battle. The Lord is faithful, and He will see you through.
