We join you in lifting up this cry for deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of God’s Word and the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all power and victory are secured. Your prayer is rooted in Scripture, and we affirm your faith in declaring the promises of God over your household. It is clear you are contending for freedom, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
The enemy seeks to bring oppression, harassment, and heaviness, but our Lord Jesus came to set the captives free and to proclaim liberty to those who are bound (Isaiah 61:1, Luke 4:18). You have rightly claimed John 8:36, which declares, *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This is not a partial freedom but a complete severing of every ungodly tie that has sought to entangle your household. The yoke of bondage has no place in the life of a believer, for Jesus invites us to take His yoke upon us, which is easy, and His burden, which is light (Matthew 11:30). We declare that the heaviness you have endured is being lifted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and the joy of the Lord is becoming your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
You have also stood on Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* We join you in rebuking every scheme of the enemy that has sought to use this person or situation as a weapon against you or your household. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, and He will contend with those who contend with you (Isaiah 49:25).
Restoration is your portion, as you have claimed Isaiah 61:7: *"Instead of your shame you will have double. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double. Everlasting joy will be to them."* What the enemy intended for harm, God is turning for your good (Genesis 50:20). He is restoring what has been stolen, healing what has been broken, and bringing beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Your household is being realigned with the purposes of God, and every hindrance is being removed by the blood of Jesus.
We also take this moment to remind you—and all who may read this—that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). While it is right to pray against the influence of those used by the enemy, we must also pray for their salvation if they do not know Christ. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). If this person is unsaved, we pray that the Lord would open their eyes to their need for Jesus, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who delivers, who breaks chains, and who sets the captives free. Lord, we lift up this household to You, asking that You sever every ungodly tie, every curse, every assignment of the enemy that has sought to bring oppression, harassment, or heaviness through this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment is condemned by Your righteous decree.
Lord Jesus, You are the one who rebukes the devil, and we ask that You rebuke every demonic force at work here. Let Your fire consume every stronghold, and let Your light expose every hidden scheme. Restore, O Lord, what has been stolen—peace, joy, health, relationships, and prosperity. Let double portion blessings overflow in this household, and let Your everlasting joy be their strength.
We also pray for the soul of the one who has been used in this attack. If they do not know You, Lord, soften their heart and draw them to Yourself. Let them encounter Your love and truth in a way that leads to repentance and salvation. Break the power of the enemy in their life, and let them be set free to worship You.
Father, we ask that You surround this household with Your hedge of protection. Let Your angels encamp around them, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the fullness of the freedom You have purchased for them through the blood of Jesus.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already secured in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and let Your kingdom come in power and glory in this situation. We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
