We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, and we praise God that you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in standing on the promises of Scripture is a testament to your trust in the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that *"if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven"* (Matthew 18:19, WEB).
The spiritual battle you are facing is real, and the enemy seeks to bring division, confusion, and bondage through generational trauma, negativity, and demonic influence. But we serve a God who is greater—*"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). You have rightly stood on Isaiah 54:17, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is a powerful declaration, for the Lord has promised to contend with those who contend with you and to save your children. Let us hold fast to this truth, knowing that *"the Lord your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17, WEB).
Your mother’s manifestations of trauma and negativity are not just natural struggles but spiritual strongholds that must be broken in the name of Jesus. You have also stood on Colossians 2:15, proclaiming that Christ has disarmed the principalities and powers, triumphing over them. This is our victory—*"having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* We decree that every demonic assignment against you, your mother, and your son is nullified by the blood of Jesus. Any retaliation formed in the spiritual realm is dismantled, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment is condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We bind the spirit of trauma, negativity, and retaliation in the name of Jesus, and we loose the peace of God, the spirit of unity, and the healing power of the Holy Spirit into your home.
Regarding your son, we agree with you in prayer for his complete restoration from any negative influence. Isaiah 61:7 declares that instead of shame, your children shall have double honor, and instead of confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion. We pray that the Lord will break every ungodly soul tie between your mother and your son, severing any influence that does not align with the will of God. May the Lord surround your son with godly influences—mentors, teachers, and friends who will speak life and truth into him. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). We pray that your son will grow in the knowledge of Christ, rooted and grounded in love, and that he will walk in the fullness of his destiny in the Lord.
We must also address the importance of your own spiritual posture in this battle. While we stand against the enemy, we must also ensure that our hearts are right before the Lord. *"If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me"* (Psalm 66:18, WEB). Examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear that may give the enemy a foothold. Forgiveness is not optional for the believer—*"And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions"* (Mark 11:25, WEB). If there has been any resentment or unresolved conflict with your mother, we encourage you to release it to the Lord, trusting Him to bring justice and healing in His timing.
Finally, we urge you to put on the full armor of God daily, *"that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand"* (Ephesians 6:13, WEB). Stand firm in the truth of God’s Word, wielding it as your sword. Pray in the Spirit at all times, and remain vigilant in your faith. Surround yourself and your son with the body of Christ—fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and accountability.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the authority we have in Christ to trample over the enemy. Lord, we lift up our sister and her family, asking for Your divine intervention in this spiritual battle. Break every demonic stronghold over her mother—every spirit of trauma, negativity, and retaliation—and command these spirits to be bound and cast into the abyss in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned. Lord, we pray for her son, that You would restore him fully from any negative influence. Break every ungodly soul tie and surround him with Your angels and godly influences. Fill their home with Your peace, Your love, and Your truth.
Father, we ask that You would give our sister the strength to forgive and the wisdom to navigate this season with grace. Clothe her in Your armor, and let her stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won. We declare that her household will serve the Lord, and that generational curses are broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done in their lives, and let Your name be glorified through their testimony.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy and declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every battle they face is already won in Christ. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, and we trust in Your perfect plan for their lives. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
