We join you in lifting up this precious soul before the throne of grace, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your heart for deliverance aligns with the will of our Father, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that *"the Lord said to Satan, 'The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Yes, the Lord who has chosen [this one] rebuke you!'"*(Zechariah 3:2, WEB). What a mighty declaration of God’s protection and sovereignty over His children!
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but our Lord has come to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Confusion and torment are not from God, for *"God is not a God of confusion, but of peace"* (1 Corinthians 14:33, WEB). These attacks are the work of the evil one, who prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we declare that no weapon formed against this beloved one shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every tormenting spirit to flee in the name of Jesus Christ, for *"he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB).
We pray for the restoration of this one’s mind, emotions, and spirit, that they would be renewed by the washing of the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let the Holy Spirit fill every empty place, bringing clarity, comfort, and a deep assurance of God’s love. We ask that you, Lord, would break every chain of bondage, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that has been erected against the knowledge of God. Let truth prevail, and let this one walk in the freedom for which Christ has set them free (Galatians 5:1).
Father, we also pray that this one would draw near to You with a repentant and humble heart, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life not surrendered to You, we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Let them experience the fullness of Your forgiveness and restoration.
We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let them rise up in the strength of the Lord, clothed in the armor of God, standing firm against every scheme of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-18). May they walk in the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus, for *"thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ"* (1 Corinthians 15:57, WEB).
Finally, we lift up this intercessor—you—who has stood in the gap for this soul. May the Lord strengthen you, fill you with His Spirit, and grant you perseverance in prayer. *"The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). You are fighting the good fight of faith, and your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Deliverer, we pray. Amen.
