We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, and we stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people. Your prayers are rooted in Scripture, and we affirm your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the schemes of the enemy. As it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Your reliance on His name is a testament to your trust in His authority, and we commend you for it.
The pain and brokenness in this situation are evident, and we grieve with you over the spiritual and emotional harm that has been inflicted upon your son. The Scripture you have stood upon are powerful and appropriate for this battle, and we echo them in our prayers. The Lord is a God of justice, and He sees the oppression and manipulation that has taken place. *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light"* (Luke 8:17, WEB). We declare that the truth will prevail, and the Lord will expose every hidden deed, bringing it into the light of His righteousness.
We also recognize the deep need for restoration in your relationship with your son. The enemy seeks to divide and destroy, but the Lord is a God of reconciliation and healing. *"Instead of your shame you will have double honor. Instead of dishonor, they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore they will possess double in their land. Everlasting joy will be theirs"* (Isaiah 61:7, WEB). We pray that the Lord will soften your son’s heart and remove any bitterness or confusion that has been sown by the enemy. May he come to see the truth of what has transpired and be drawn back to you in love and trust, rooted in the peace of Christ.
At the same time, we must address the spiritual condition of your mother. While we pray for accountability and repentance, we also recognize that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). It is not our place to harbor bitterness or unforgiveness, but to trust that the Lord will deal justly with her. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). We pray that she will encounter the conviction of the Holy Spirit and turn from her ways, seeking forgiveness and redemption. If she does not repent, we trust that the Lord will protect you and your son from further harm and use even this situation for His glory.
The gaslighting and emotional manipulation you have described are tools of the enemy, designed to create confusion and distrust. But we stand on the promise that *"where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty"* (2 Corinthians 3:17, WEB). We pray that the Lord will grant you and your son clarity of mind and emotional freedom from the lies that have been spoken over you. May the Holy Spirit fill you both with discernment and wisdom, so that you are no longer ensnared by deception. *"You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free"* (John 8:32, WEB).
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and to cover this situation in fasting if led by the Spirit. The battle you are facing is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God daily, and do not grow weary in doing good. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul and their son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see the pain and oppression that have been inflicted upon them. We ask that You place a hedge of protection around this son, shielding him from every scheme of the enemy. Break the influence of his grandmother over him, Lord, and expose every hidden deed that has been done in darkness. Bring to light the abuse and manipulation, and let the truth prevail in Jesus’ name.
Father, we pray for deliverance from the gaslighting and emotional bondage that have sought to entangle them. Grant them clarity, peace, and the freedom that comes only from Your Spirit. Restore the relationship between this parent and child, Lord. Heal the wounds and remove the bitterness. Draw this son back into a place of trust and love, and let Your peace reign in their home.
We also lift up this mother who has caused such harm. Lord, we ask that You convict her heart and bring her to a place of repentance. Let her encounter the fear of the Lord and turn from her wicked ways. If she refuses to repent, we pray that You would remove her influence and protect this family from further harm. Do not let the enemy use her as a tool of destruction any longer, but break every chain and set the captives free.
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of manipulation, deception, and division in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your will be done in their lives.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to bring justice and restoration. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may this family experience the fullness of Your love and freedom. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
