We join with you in lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all darkness must flee. Your heart for spiritual warfare is evident, and we commend you for taking a bold stand against the forces of evil that seek to oppress and destroy. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly armed yourself with the Word of God, and we will stand with you in this fight, for the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).
You have invoked Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked from the fire?"* This is a powerful declaration of God’s protection over His people, and we claim it now over those who are being targeted by these dark works. The Lord has already triumphed over every evil power through the cross, as Colossians 2:15 declares: *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* We stand on this truth and declare that every witchcraft alliance, every curse, every spell, and every demonic assignment against God’s people is broken by the blood of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against those who are covered by His blood shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up 2 Timothy 4:18, where Paul declares, *"The Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom."* This is our confidence—that the Lord will rescue and deliver all who are affected by the schemes of this family. The blood of Jesus is our ultimate protection, and Revelation 12:11 reminds us, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."* We plead the blood of Jesus over every individual you’ve mentioned, over their minds, their bodies, their families, and their futures. Every chain of witchcraft, every stronghold of fear or control, and every demonic assignment is broken now in the name of Jesus. We bind every familiar spirit and every demonic influence operating through this family, and we command them to be silenced and cast out, never to return.
Yet, as we engage in this spiritual battle, we must also remember the heart of God for even those who are ensnared in darkness. While we rebuke the works of the enemy, we pray for the salvation of those involved in these practices. The Bible tells us that God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the Lord would open their eyes to the deception they are under, that they would turn from their wicked ways and seek the forgiveness and redemption found only in Jesus Christ. Acts 26:18 reminds us that we are called to *"open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me."* May the Holy Spirit convict their hearts and lead them to the truth.
We also encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and covered in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, and stay vigilant. Surround yourself with other believers who can stand in agreement with you, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in their midst (Matthew 18:20).
Lastly, we want to remind you that your authority in this battle comes solely through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father and the power to trample over every work of the enemy (Luke 10:19). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray, rebuke, and declare victory.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your power, Your protection, and Your promise to deliver Your people from every evil work. Lord, we stand in agreement with Your servant, lifting up this plea for deliverance from the dark works of witchcraft and every demonic stronghold that has been erected by this family. We rebuke every principality, every power, every ruler of darkness, and every spiritual wickedness operating through them. By the blood of Jesus, we break every curse, every spell, every hex, and every demonic assignment sent against Your people. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it into the light. Let every secret thing be revealed, and let the enemy’s plans be thwarted. We cover every person affected by these works with the blood of Jesus, and we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around them. Let Your angels encamp around them, delivering them from every evil snare. We break every chain of fear, every stronghold of oppression, and every demonic influence in their lives. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we also pray for the salvation of those who are involved in these dark practices. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word. Let them see the deception they are under and turn to You in repentance. Softens their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Let them encounter the love and power of Jesus Christ in a way that transforms their lives forever.
Strengthen Your servant who has brought this request before You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and let them walk in the authority and victory that You have already secured for them through the cross. Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let them stand firm in faith, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy is defeated, and Your people are free. In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
