We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already won the victory over every chain, every curse, and every scheme of the enemy. Your heart to seek the Lord in this battle is evident, and we commend you for covering yourself in the blood of Jesus and wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. You have declared His truth over this situation, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, WEB).
The hatred and spiritual harassment you are experiencing are not from the Lord but are tools of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we know that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). You are His servant, and He is your vindicator. The Lord sees the affliction you are enduring, and He is not silent. He is a God of justice, and He will act on your behalf.
We also want to encourage you to examine your heart in this season. While it is right to seek deliverance from the attacks of the enemy, we must also ensure that we are not harboring any bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment toward this individual. Jesus commands us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44, WEB). This does not mean you excuse or tolerate their behavior, but it does mean releasing them to God’s justice and trusting Him to fight your battles. Forgiveness is not for their sake—it is for yours. Unforgiveness can become a stronghold in your own life, giving the enemy a foothold. As you pray for deliverance, ask the Lord to help you release any lingering anger or pain, so that you may walk in the freedom Christ has already secured for you.
If this person has been a part of your past in a way that was ungodly—whether through a relationship outside of marriage, emotional dependency, or any other bond that was not honoring to the Lord—we urge you to repent of any involvement in that sin and ask the Lord to cleanse you fully. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If this bond was formed in a context that was not aligned with God’s design for relationships, it is critical to break not only the emotional ties but also to seek the Lord’s forgiveness and restoration for any compromise on your part. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Now, let us pray together over you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, standing in agreement with Your child who seeks freedom and restoration. Lord, You see the pain, the spiritual harassment, and the hatred that has been directed toward them. You are not unaware, and You are not indifferent. We declare that every chain formed against them is broken by the power of the blood of Jesus. Every emotional tie that has been used as a weapon by the enemy is severed in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke every demonic manifestation operating through this individual, just as You rebuked Satan in the wilderness and in the life of Job. Let Your angelic hosts rise up and minister deliverance, for Your Word says that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we ask that You would lift a standard against the hatred coming from this person. Let it be turned back upon the enemy’s own head, for You are a God who contends with those who contend with Your people (Isaiah 49:25). Break the power of every curse, every word spoken in malice, and every scheme of the enemy to keep Your child in bondage. Let Your truth be their shield and Your Spirit their comfort. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also ask that You would search their heart and reveal any area where they need to release forgiveness. Give them the grace to bless those who curse them and to trust You with their pain. Let this season be one of deep healing and restoration, where every wound is bound up by Your loving hands. Remove any fear, anxiety, or torment that the enemy has tried to place upon them, and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Father, we thank You that You are their Deliverer, their Strong Tower, and their Refuge. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. We declare that they are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Let this battle be a testimony of Your power and faithfulness, and let Your child walk in the fullness of the freedom that Jesus purchased for them on the cross.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, beloved. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep speaking the Word over your life, keep praying, and keep trusting in His deliverance. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won. Walk in that victory.
