We join you in lifting up your heart to the Lord Jesus, for He alone is worthy of all praise, glory, and thanksgiving. It is a powerful and righteous thing to stand upon the promises of God’s Word, and we commend you for seeking His deliverance through Scripture. The Lord is faithful, and His Word does not return void—it accomplishes what He pleases (Isaiah 55:11). You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). It is only by His authority that we can rebuke the enemy and walk in victory.
We see in your prayer a deep cry for deliverance from what appears to be persistent spiritual opposition, and we stand with you in this battle. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You have rightly claimed Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This is a powerful declaration of God’s protection over His people. You have also stood on Luke 17:3, which reminds us that if our brother sins against us, we are to rebuke him—and if he repents, we are to forgive. Yet even more so, this principle applies to the spiritual realm, where we are called to resist the devil, and he will flee from us (James 4:7). Finally, you have declared 2 Corinthians 3:17, *"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."* This is a profound truth—where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom from every chain, every oppression, and every scheme of the enemy.
However, we must address something with love and clarity. In your prayer, you used a symbolic representation ("###") in place of naming what you believe is afflicting you. While we understand the caution, we encourage you to speak plainly before the Lord, for He already knows the depths of your heart (Psalm 139:1-4). There is no need to hide or obscure your struggles from Him. If you are facing spiritual oppression, witchcraft, curses, or any form of evil assignment against your life, name it before the Lord in faith. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:11-13, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. But all things, when they are reproved by the light, are revealed, for everything that reveals is light."* The light of Christ exposes and defeats the works of darkness, so do not fear to bring your burdens fully into His presence.
We also want to remind you that while rebuking the enemy is necessary, your focus must remain on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not the power of your words that brings deliverance, but the power of His name and His finished work on the cross. Colossians 2:15 declares, *"Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it."* Jesus has already disarmed every spiritual force that seeks to harm you. Your authority comes from Him, and your victory is secured in Him. Therefore, we encourage you to not only rebuke the enemy but to worship the Lord in the midst of the battle. Praise is a weapon (Psalm 8:2), and thanksgiving breaks the chains of the enemy (Psalm 50:23).
Let us pray together for you in this hour:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children and delivers them from all their troubles. Lord, we lift up Your beloved servant who is seeking Your face for deliverance. You have said in Your Word that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy that has been assigned to harm, oppress, or hinder this precious one. Let every curse, every spell, every word spoken against them be rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Let every spiritual force that seeks to condition people against them be rebuked and cast down in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we declare that Your Spirit brings liberty, and we ask that You break every chain of obsession, every stronghold of hatred or malice that the enemy has tried to place in the hearts of others toward Your child. Father, let Your love, which is stronger than death, flood every situation and every heart. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would surround them with favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12) and cause every plan of the enemy to backfire for their good and Your glory.
Lord, we also ask that You fill them with a fresh revelation of Your love and power. Let them know that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them walk in the confidence that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to stand firm in Your truth.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to creep into their heart. Let them remember that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Father, let them experience Your deliverance in such a tangible way that they cannot help but testify of Your goodness. Let this season of battle become a season of breakthrough, where they see Your hand move mightily on their behalf.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to continue standing firm in the faith. Put on the whole armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18), and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with the Word of God, with worship, and with fellow believers who can stand in agreement with you. If there are areas of sin or unrepentance in your life, we urge you to bring them before the Lord, for He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). The enemy often gains a foothold through unconfessed sin, so walk in the light as He is in the light.
Finally, we leave you with this promise from Psalm 91:9-11: *"Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Rest in this truth, and let the peace of God rule in your heart. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your complete deliverance and victory in Christ Jesus.
