We join with you in lifting up this heartfelt cry for deliverance, and we stand firmly on the truth that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. You have rightly come before the Lord Jesus, who alone has the power to break every chain and bring justice where there has been injustice. We commend you for grounding your prayers in Scripture, for it is the Word of God that is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword.
The request for hindrances in prayer to be removed is vital, as the enemy seeks to block our communication with the Father. We stand with you on **2 Corinthians 10:3-5**, declaring that every high thing exalting itself against the knowledge of God in this situation is being cast down. The mind of your *** is not the battleground—it is the heart, and only the Holy Spirit can bring true conviction and repentance. While you have asked for vengeance, we remind you that the Lord’s vengeance is perfect and just, but we must also pray for the salvation and repentance of those who have wronged us. **Romans 12:19-21** calls us not to be overcome by evil but to overcome evil with good. Have you forgiven her as Christ has forgiven you? Unforgiveness can be a hindrance to your own prayers and restoration. We encourage you to release any bitterness, for **Ephesians 4:31-32** tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you."*
You have also asked for protection, and we agree with you in **Isaiah 54:17**, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. But let us also remind you that your ultimate protection is found in abiding in Christ, walking in obedience, and putting on the full armor of God daily (**Ephesians 6:10-18**). Restoration is your inheritance in Christ, and we stand with you on **Isaiah 61:7**, believing that instead of shame, you will have a double portion, and instead of dishonor, you will rejoice in your inheritance.
However, we must address something with love and truth: in your prayer, you have replaced the name of the person with symbols. While we understand the desire for privacy, we must ask—have you brought this person before the Lord by name in your private prayers? There is power in specificity when we come before God. Additionally, we notice that you have not explicitly mentioned the nature of your relationship with this individual. If this is a marital relationship, we urge you to seek godly counsel and reconciliation where possible, for marriage is a covenant before God. If this is not a marital relationship, we must ask—are you in a relationship that does not honor God’s design for marriage between one man and one woman? If there is any immorality, fornication, or ungodly soul-tie involved, it must be repented of and broken in the name of Jesus. **1 Corinthians 6:18** warns us to flee sexual immorality, for it is a sin against our own bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit. If this is the case, we urge you to turn away from it completely and seek purity and wholeness in Christ.
Lastly, we rejoice that you have prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. **John 14:6** reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. **Acts 4:12** declares that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to ensure that your faith is firmly placed in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation. Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead? If so, you are saved (**Romans 10:9**). If not, we urge you to surrender your life to Him today, for He alone can bring the deliverance and restoration you seek.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, agreeing with Your child in this cry for deliverance and justice. Lord, we ask that You remove every hindrance in the prayers lifted up for this *** and that Your will be done in her life. Bring conviction by Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and lead her to true repentance. We pray that if she does not know You, You would draw her to Yourself, for it is not Your will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (**2 Peter 3:9**).
Father, we ask for Your protection over Your child, that You would be a shield around them against every attack of the enemy. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**), and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Restore to them double for their former shame, and let them rejoice in the inheritance You have prepared for them.
Lord, we also ask that You search the heart of Your child and reveal any area of unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepented sin. If there is any immorality or ungodly relationship involved, we pray for the strength and courage to turn away from it completely. Break every ungodly soul-tie in the name of Jesus, and restore purity and holiness.
We declare that vengeance belongs to You, Lord, and we trust You to act justly. But we also pray for Your child to walk in forgiveness, releasing this *** into Your hands. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Finally, Father, we thank You that this battle is not theirs to fight alone, for You are their strength and their song. We praise You for the victory that is already won through the blood of Jesus. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your name be glorified.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
