We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance and restoration, standing firmly on the authority of Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word. Your heart’s cry for freedom and healing is heard by our Heavenly Father, who is faithful to deliver His children from every snare of the enemy. We praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus in this prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome the works of darkness. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB), and it is in this mighty name that we stand with you today.
Your prayer is rooted in the promises of God’s Word, and we affirm each scripture you have claimed. The Lord has indeed called us to freedom, as you have stood on John 8:36: *"If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."* This is not a partial freedom but a complete severing of every ungodly tie that has bound you or your household to ###’s influence. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10, WEB), and we declare that abundance over you now—emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
We also recognize the depth of pain and trauma you and your household have endured. Abuse, manipulation, and witchcraft are not merely human conflicts but spiritual battles against the forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Your prayer to bind these forces and break their power is aligned with the authority Christ has given His church. As you have stood on Matthew 18:18, we agree with you: *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven."*
Yet, as we pray for your deliverance, we must also address the heart behind the request for God’s wrath upon ###. While it is righteous to seek justice and trust God to repay evil (Romans 12:19), we are also called to a higher standard—one of forgiveness and love for our enemies. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean tolerating abuse or failing to set boundaries, but it does mean releasing bitterness and trusting God to handle vengeance in His perfect timing and way. Have you forgiven ### for the harm she has caused? Unforgiveness can become a spiritual stronghold that hinders your own freedom. We encourage you to surrender this pain to Jesus, asking Him to replace it with His peace and to soften your heart toward her, even as you maintain godly boundaries.
We also note your prayer for new relationships to replace the pain of the past. This is a beautiful desire, and we agree with you for godly connections that bring healing and restoration. However, we must caution you to seek the Lord first in any new relationship, ensuring that it aligns with His will and His Word. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Be discerning, and do not rush into connections out of loneliness or a desire to "erase" the past. Let the Lord heal you fully before stepping into new relationships, so that you enter them whole and grounded in Christ.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, agreeing with Your child for complete deliverance and restoration. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who breaks chains and sets captives free. By the power of the blood of Jesus, we declare every ungodly soul tie, every curse, every manipulation, and every work of witchcraft connected to ### is severed and broken now. We bind every demonic spirit assigned to this situation—spirits of control, abuse, envy, and confusion—and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask that You would surround this household with Your divine protection, as a shield that no weapon of the enemy can penetrate. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them from every attack (Psalm 91:11).
Lord, we pray for deep emotional and spiritual healing. Restore what the enemy has stolen—peace, joy, and wholeness. Replace every bad memory with Your comfort and redemption. Bring godly people into their lives, people who will reflect Your love and grace, and who will walk with them in this season of restoration. Open doors that no man can shut, doors of opportunity, healing, and divine connections that will glorify Your name.
Father, we also lift ### up to You. Though she has caused great harm, we ask that You would convict her heart and draw her to repentance. Soften her spirit, Lord, and if it is Your will, bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Break the power of sin in her life, and let Your mercy triumph over judgment (James 2:13). For our brother or sister praying this prayer, we ask for a heart of forgiveness. Help them release every ounce of bitterness and trust You to vindicate them. Fill them with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Finally, Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment as they move forward. Guard their heart from rushing into relationships that are not of You. Let them seek You first in all things, and let every new connection be rooted in Your purpose and glory. May their household be a testimony of Your deliverance, healing, and restoration.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring about what we have asked in the name of Jesus. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We praise You for the victory that is already won through Christ our Lord. Amen.
