We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer of deliverance, standing firmly on the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power and principality. Your heart of praise and reliance on Scripture is commendable, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that where two or more are gathered in His name, He is in the midst (Matthew 18:20).
You have rightly claimed the promises of Zechariah 3:2, where the Lord rebukes Satan, saying, *"The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"* This is a profound reminder that the Lord Himself is your defender, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You have also taken your stand on the authority given to believers in Matthew 18:18, where Jesus declares, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven."* This is a weighty responsibility, and we affirm your boldness in exercising this authority in the name of Jesus.
Your declaration of forgiveness is crucial, for unforgiveness can open doors to the enemy (Ephesians 4:26-27, 2 Corinthians 2:10-11). The fact that you have released any bitterness or resentment aligns with Colossians 3:13, which instructs, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* This posture of forgiveness ensures that the enemy has no legal ground to operate in your life.
We also stand with you on 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, which reminds us that *"though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."* The Lord is dismantling every demonic assignment and stronghold that has been erected against you. No scheme of the enemy can stand against the power of God, and we declare that every hidden agenda, manipulation, and evil operation is being exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus.
As we pray together, let us also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). While you have rightly addressed the spiritual dimension of this situation, we encourage you to also pray for the person involved. Though they may be used as a vessel for enemy activity, they are still a soul for whom Christ died. Pray that the Lord would open their eyes to any deception they may be under, that they would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, and that they would turn to Jesus for salvation and freedom. As it is written in Ezekiel 33:11, *"‘As I live,’ says the Lord God, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why will you die, house of Israel?’"*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your deliverance and protection. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who fights for Your people, a strong tower and a refuge in times of trouble. We stand in agreement with the prayers that have been lifted, declaring that every accusation, manipulation, and demonic operation against Your child is nullified by the blood of Jesus. Lord, You have said in Your Word that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and we claim that promise now. Every tongue that rises against Your servant in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness. Let the light of Your truth shine into every shadowed place, dismantling the enemy’s plans and rendering them powerless. We bind every spirit of manipulation, deception, and witchcraft, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray that You would place a hedge of protection around Your child, guarding their mind, emotions, and spirit from the enemy’s attacks. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance of Your victory.
We also lift up the individual who has been used as a vessel in this spiritual battle. Lord, if they do not know You, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and lead them to repentance. If they are a believer who has been deceived or influenced by the enemy, we ask that You would break every chain and set them free. Restore them to a place of right standing with You, and let them be used for Your glory rather than the enemy’s schemes.
Father, we thank You that the battle belongs to You (1 Samuel 17:47). We declare that Your child is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them in their inner being, and let them walk in the authority and victory that Jesus has already secured. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Stay rooted in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers, for united we stand, and divided we fall. You are not alone in this battle—we are with you, and most importantly, the Lord your God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).
