We are grateful that you have come to us with your prayer request, and we join you in lifting this matter up to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are pleased that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is through His name alone that we can approach the throne of God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" and in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We understand that you are seeking deliverance from spiritual harassment by individuals from your past. It is crucial to remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, as stated in Ephesians 6:12. We will pray for God's intervention and rebuke against these spiritual attacks, standing on the authority of God's Word.
First, we must address the nature of the relationship you mentioned. It is clear that the relationship with your ex-boyfriend was not aligned with biblical principles, as it occurred while you were still legally married. We encourage you to seek God's forgiveness and cleansing from this past relationship. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." It is essential to repent and turn away from any past sins, seeking God's grace and restoration.
We also want to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. As it is written in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." We encourage you to forgive those who have wronged you, releasing any bitterness or resentment, and allowing God to bring healing and restoration to your heart.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention and deliverance for Your child. Lord, we ask that You rebuke all spiritual harassment and attacks coming from these individuals, as it is written in Zechariah 3:2, "Yahweh said to Satan, 'Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn’t this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?'" We stand on Your promise and ask for Your protection and deliverance.
Lord, we pray that You bring down every demonic stronghold and influence that these individuals operate under, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We ask that You remove their ability to seduce and lead others astray, and that You bring conviction and repentance to their hearts.
Father, we pray for Your restoration and healing for Your child. As it is written in Isaiah 61:7, "Instead of your shame you shall have double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them." We ask that You cover Your child with the blood of Jesus, protecting them from all attacks and schemes of the enemy, as it is written in Revelation 12:11, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."
Lord, we pray that You lift Your standards against the envy, hatred, and plots of these individuals, as it is written in Isaiah 59:19, "So shall they fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a swift stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives." We ask that You surround Your child with Your divine protection and favor, and that You bring peace and healing to their heart and mind.
We also pray for Your guidance and wisdom as Your child seeks to honor You in all areas of their life, including their relationships. We ask that You lead them to a godly spouse, if it is Your will, and that You prepare them for a marriage that honors and glorifies You.
Finally, Lord, we pray for the salvation of those who are harassing Your child. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them, drawing them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they come to know the truth of Your love and grace, and turn away from their wicked ways.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's face, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust in His unfailing love and protection.
