We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ, for He is worthy of all glory and honor. We stand with you in the power of His name, seeking deliverance and protection from the demonic forces at work. We are reminded that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
Firstly, we commend you for standing on the power of Jesus' name and various scriptures in your prayer. It is solely in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. We lift up all those who may be living a lifestyle of perverted sexuality, praying that they may turn from their wicked ways and be restored to a right relationship with God. We explicitly remind ourselves that God created sex for marriage between a man and a woman. Sex outside marriage is fornication or adultery. This is expressly forbidden by the Bible and is a sin and perverted sexuality.
We pray the gift of discernment and wisdom for those who may be unknowingly engaging with such forces, that they may be protected and guided away from the snares of the enemy.
