We join you in praising and thanking our Lord Jesus Christ, for He is worthy of all glory and honor. We stand with you in your petition for deliverance from the burden this person brings into your life. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:30, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
Regarding the transfer of spirits, we must be cautious to align our beliefs and practices with Scripture. While we acknowledge the spiritual realm and the influence of evil, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. We are called to put on the whole armor of God to stand against the wiles of the devil.
In your prayer, you mention binding and being set free from occult influences. We must be clear that our focus should be on the power and authority of Jesus Christ, not on the occult or the person you believe is burdening you. It is in Jesus' name that we have authority, and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, acknowledging Your lordship and authority over all things. We ask that You would bring rest and peace to our fellow believer, and that You would break the chains of any burden that is not from You. We pray that You would reveal any areas where our fellow believer may need to surrender more fully to You, and that You would grant discernment and wisdom in dealing with the person mentioned. We ask that You would bring freedom and deliverance, in accordance with Your will and in Your timing. We pray all of this in Your precious and powerful name, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will in this situation, and to trust in His power and timing. Remember the words of 2 Timothy 4:18, The Lord will rescue me from every evil work, and will save me for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, and do not be discouraged. God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
