Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you together in the name of Jesus and thank you for bringing this man before the Lord with such compassion and discernment. We agree with you that it is only through the cross of our holy Son Jesus that any of us can be saved and delivered, and we praise God that you have come in that name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.

We share your burden for this man who rented his flat to you and we stand with you in asking for his complete deliverance and restoration. We see clearly what you have discerned, that he has adopted a false identity through sinful relationships and activities and has strayed from the narrow path to follow his own desires. We must speak plainly that any sexual relationship outside of marriage between a man and a woman is fornication and if involving a married person is adultery, and God calls us to flee from it. As it is written Flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Remove your way far from her. Do not come near the door of her house Proverbs 5:8. An ungodly relationship where a man is controlled, blackmailed, and even in danger for his life is not love but bondage, and it is hateful in the sight of God who created us for freedom and holiness. We rebuke that sin and that bondage and we declare that the enemy has no right to hold him when he turns to Christ.

We also hear your prayer for his stony heart and for separation from ungodly influences, even those in his household and the evil woman in his life. Scripture warns us Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity 2 Corinthians 6:14 and it promises I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We claim that promise for him. We pray that God will open his eyes to see his true identity in Christ, for if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. His identity is not found in his sin or in what others say about him or demand from him, but as a child of God created for good works.

We pray for him now together. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for your holy Son Jesus who suffered for all who believe. Lord you know the plans you have for this man, for you have said For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 and your thoughts are far greater than ours. In the name of Jesus we ask you to break his stony heart and soften it for your glory. Give him courage to enter in by the narrow gate, for narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way that leads to life Matthew 7:13, Matthew 7:14. Open his eyes to the unmistakable truth about who he is in Christ and to the deception of the false identity he has embraced. Give him understanding to fear your holy name, for The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10, and to depart from evil and from the evil woman who entangles him. Where there has been fornication and impurity, bring deep conviction and repentance, for you have promised If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

Lord separate him from every ungodly influence, every controlling and blackmailing relationship, and every voice in his household that pulls him away from you. Place a hedge of protection around his life where he is in danger and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We pray you would show him the depth of your love, that he may know you will deliver those who cry to you, for The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. Teach him to be subject therefore to God and to resist the devil, and he will flee from him James 4:7. Lead him into freedom, into truth, for you have said You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. If it is your will for his life, in your timing lead him to a godly marriage with a believing wife that honors you, rather than any sinful liaison that destroys. But first, bring him to full surrender to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

We encourage you who are interceding to continue to stand in love and truth for him. Do not condone the sin while you love the sinner, but speak the truth with grace and keep praying that God will make his path clear and give him the strength to walk away from evil. God hears when we agree together in Jesus name, and He is faithful to complete the work He has begun. We trust the Lord will give this man understanding to choose life, to fear God, and to follow the narrow path for His glory. In Jesus powerful name we pray, amen.

We were moved by your compassionate prayer for this man who was once your landlord. It is a kind and Christlike thing to keep lifting someone before the Father even after your renting relationship has ended, especially when you are concerned for his safety and his walk with God.

What you named about identity feels so central. When a person has built his sense of self around relationships or desires that pull him away from God, that identity can feel very shaky and vulnerable to control and fear. Part of God's gracious work is to gently rebuild a steadier identity rooted in who he is in Christ, learning again to live before God first rather than before the voices around him. That kind of renewing does not happen overnight, and it often needs patient, trusted support.

A gentle next step as you continue to pray is to keep healthy boundaries while you intercede. You cannot make his choices for him or step between him and others in his household, but you can keep praying and, if he is open, encourage him toward a mature pastor or counselor he trusts and toward safe help if he ever feels threatened or coerced.

Father, we bring this man before You and ask You to draw him close, to soften his heart to Your voice, to show him who he is in Christ, and to give him courage and wisdom to step away from what harms him. Surround him with godly influence, protect him from control and danger, and guide him on Your narrow path. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing this man before the throne of grace, pleading that the Lord who is gracious would speak that word which alone can save, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom.

We do not ask the Lord to bless what He calls sin, nor to confirm any in a false identity or in relationships outside His holy design. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belongs within it, and salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, His blood and righteousness being the only propitiation for sin. What we do ask, and what you have rightly asked, is that God would deliver this soul from the power of darkness, for that power is real and holds men as with spider webs that soon become iron chains, and none can break them but He who has delivered us.

There is a repentance that springs only from terror and it is superficial, skin deep, and withers in a night. Men may turn from sin for a time under fear and then return to it with greater gusto. Beware of praying only for outward reformation or for mere escape from danger and blackmail and control. What is needed is that true repentance which is inseparable from faith, a repentance that leads a man to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, to rejoice in Jesus crucified, to trust Him, to leap for joy that God has set Him forth to be a propitiation for sin. Not to forms and ceremonies, or works, or feelings, but to what Christ has done must the eye be turned, for there sin was punished upon the great Substitute and put away forever from all those who will only trust Him.

Therefore let us pray together in this way. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Thy Son who suffered for all who believe, have mercy upon this man. Thou knowest his state, his household, and the ungodly influences that surround him. Break his stony heart and give him a heart of flesh. Open his ears and seal instruction upon him, that Thou mayest withdraw him from his purpose and hide pride from him. Grant him to see his true identity not in his own desires or in the sinful paths he has followed, but in Christ, as one created in Thine image and, if he will believe, as a new creature in Thy Son. Deliver him from the power of darkness and translate him into the kingdom of Thy dear Son. Give him courage to follow the narrow path, understanding to fear Thy holy name, and grace to depart from evil and from every entwining sin, including the evil company that now controls and endangers him. Separate him, we pray, from those who would hold him in bondage, and set him free indeed, for when Christ was bound, His people were made free. Let him look and live, trusting only in the one great Sacrifice, and find that deliverance from the guilt of sin and deliverance from the power of sin are both Thy work alone.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in quiet witness, not binding the hands of Christ by despair or by seeking other hopes, but commending this man to Him who is mighty to save. The Lord scourges His children but He does not slay them, and He deals out trial in weight and measure from covenant love. Trust Him to do what is right and good, to work in His own time, and to glorify Himself in showing mercy. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait upon Him, and may He grant this man that godly sorrow which need never be repented of, even faith in the Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Amen.
