Deliverance prayer for the former ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the cross and for the fact that your holy Son, Jesus, suffered for all of us who believe. We praise your holy name. Lord, you know the plans you have for us, and your thoughts are far greater than ours. We come to you together in the name of Jesus, believing that you hear our prayers when we agree. Lord, you know this man who rented his flat to me, and he is also your child. Lord, help him to hear your voice concerning your holy plan for his life. Help him to see the clear, unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ. Open his eyes to the false identity he adopted when he entered into sinful relationships or activities and strayed from your narrow path and followed his own desires. Lord break his stony heart and give him courage to follow the narrow path and soften his heart for your glory. I also pray that you will separate him from ungodly influences, including those in his household, and that he will recognise the depth of your love, as well as the sinful and hateful relationships he has entered into, in which he is controlled, blackmailed, and where his life may be in danger. Give him understanding to fear your Holy name. Lord, give him understanding to depart from evil and the evil woman in his life. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

We join you together in the name of Jesus and we thank you for bringing this man before the throne of grace with such compassion and discernment. We agree with you that it is only through the cross where our holy Son Jesus suffered for all who believe that there is forgiveness, deliverance and new life, and we praise God that you have come in that mighty name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father.

We hear your burden for this former landlord and we see the biblical wisdom in your prayer. You have rightly asked for his eyes to be opened to his true identity in Christ rather than a false identity built on sinful relationships and following his own desires. Scripture tells us if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17. His true identity is not found in whom he has been with or what he has done, but in who Christ says he is when he repents and believes. We also agree that God's thoughts and plans are far greater than ours, for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts Isaiah 55:9, and we cling to the promise For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

We must speak clearly about the sinful relationships you mentioned, including the evil woman in his life. God calls us to holiness and to flee from sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Whether this is fornication which is sex before or outside of marriage, or adultery, or homosexuality which is also forbidden before God, all such relationships outside of the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman are sin and keep a person on the broad path that leads to destruction. The narrow path is hard and few find it Matthew 7:13-14, but it leads to life. We strongly endorse God's design for marriage as the only right place for sexual union, and we pray this man will come to desire that purity and order rather than the counterfeit that now controls and defiles him. The Scriptures warn us about the immoral woman whose lips drip honey and whose mouth is smoother than oil, but in the end she is as bitter as wormwood Proverbs 5:3-4, and that she hunts for the precious life Proverbs 6:26. You have discerned rightly that such entanglements bring control, blackmail, fear and even danger to his life, and this is the fruit of being unequally yoked and bound by ungodly soul ties. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14 and Do not be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33.

We also agree in praying for his stony heart to be broken and softened. God promises I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Only God can give him the courage to depart from evil, and the fear of Yahweh is to hate evil Proverbs 8:13 and The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom Proverbs 9:10. When he truly fears God he will want to depart from that evil influence and be separated from ungodly influences even within his household, as you prayed.

We pray together now for him and for you as you intercede.

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the powerful name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for your mercy and for the blood shed on the cross that still delivers today. Lord, you know this man, you see his flat, his household, his confusion and his danger. We ask that you open his eyes to see the unmistakable truth about his identity in Christ and to renounce every false identity he adopted when he strayed from your narrow path. Break his stony heart, Lord, and give him a heart of flesh that hears your voice and trembles at your Holy name. Give him godly sorrow that leads to repentance and grant him courage to choose the narrow path even when it is hard.

Father, we ask you to break every ungodly soul tie and chain of fornication, adultery and manipulation that binds him. Set him free, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36 and You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free John 8:32. Separate him from ungodly influences and from the evil woman who controls and blackmails him. Expose the darkness, protect his life from all threat and blackmail, and place a hedge around him. Cause him to hate evil and to depart from it. Let him understand the depth of your love that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us Romans 5:8, and that you are close to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18. We pray he will confess his sins, for If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

Lord, we also pray for the one who is praying, strengthen and protect them as they stand in the gap, let them not grow weary in doing good Galatians 6:9, and give them wisdom to speak the truth in love Ephesians 4:15. Lead this man into fellowship with true believers, into the Word, and if it is your will, toward a godly marriage that honors you, rather than sinful relationships that destroy. We resist the enemy on his behalf, for we know greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and we command every work of darkness to flee as he submits himself to you James 4:7. We ask all these things in the holy and mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for lifting this man to the Father with such compassion. We hear how much you want him to know he is deeply loved by God, to see himself clearly as God sees him, and to find courage to step away from what is harming and controlling him.

It is heavy to carry concern for someone who may be unsafe or under pressure from others in his household. Loving him in prayer while also respecting that his choices are his own is a hard balance. One gentle next step we have found helpful is to stay rooted in your own supportive community as you pray, perhaps a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray with you ongoing and help you keep wise, caring boundaries in any contact you have with him, especially if you are worried about safety or manipulation.

We are praying with you.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this man before you. You know his story and his struggles. Draw him close, let him know your love and truth in a way he can understand, soften what is hard and give him wisdom to recognize what is harmful and to seek what is good and safe. Give our friend peace as he intercedes, and guide both of them to safe, wise help and community. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the throne of grace, thanking God that He hears when His people agree together in the name of Jesus, and that the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses from all sin all who truly repent and believe in Him.

We pray for this man to whom you have shown Christian concern. We ask the Lord, who alone can deliver from the power of darkness, to have mercy upon him and to grant him that true repentance which is the fruit of Divine Grace and not merely the outcome of terror or distress. We do not ask for a superficial work that only touches the surface, but for a work that goes to the heart, that gives God glory, that hates sin because it slew Christ and turns from it to live as the holy God would have us live.

We pray that faith and repentance, which are inseparable companions, may be wrought in him by the Holy Spirit through belief of the truth. May he be brought to look away from himself, from forms and feelings and his own desires, and to look unto Christ and be saved, trusting wholly in His one great sacrifice upon the cross. For salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is none else. In that looking there is the word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, and there is joyful liberty as sin is seen punished upon the great Substitute.

We ask the Father to break the stony heart and give a heart of flesh, to open his eyes to his true identity in Christ as one made in His image and bought with His blood, and to show him the falsehood of any identity built upon sinful desire or sinful relationships. We pray that He would grant understanding to fear His holy name and to depart from evil, and give courage to walk the narrow path that leads to life.

We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His holy will, for marriage is His institution, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to it is to be kept within it. We ask instead that the Lord would separate this man from every ungodly influence, even those in his own household, and from every entangling and hateful relationship where he is controlled or harmed. Where there is blackmail or danger or bondage, we pray for the Lord's protecting hand, but above all for deliverance from the fascinating power of sin and from Satan who is the prince of the power of darkness. May he be taught the mischief of loving the world and be loosed from every infirmity that has bowed him down so long.

We pray that Christ who was bound for sinners may make this man free indeed, and that being made free he may be bound to Christ in love and holy obligation, unable to return to what once enslaved him because perfect love now holds him.

We will continue to pray with you that God will seal instruction to his heart, withdraw him from his purpose that is against God, hide pride from him, and bring him to declare with joyous faith, I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May repentance and remission of sins be his through Christ, to the praise of the glory of His grace. In Jesus' powerful name we ask these things, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing this burden and we join you in bringing this man before the Lord in prayer.

Your desire for his deliverance and for his eyes to be opened is right and good. God hears the prayers of those who agree together in the name of Jesus, and He desires that all would come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth. We pray with you that this man would hear the voice of the Lord and turn from every false identity and from every path that leads away from God.

Scripture teaches that Christ came for two great purposes, deliverance from evil and the supply of good. He delivers us from the curse of sin and brings us into sonship, so that we might receive adoption and put on Christ and receive the Spirit of adoption. True freedom is not found in following our own desires, but in standing fast in the freedom with which Christ has set us free. When Christ as light shines upon the heart, He delivers from error and dissolves the darkness of the mind.

So we pray that God would soften what has been hard and give this man a willing heart to follow the narrow path. We ask that the Lord would break the power of every ungodly influence and every controlling and harmful relationship, and that He would grant protection where there is danger, blackmail or manipulation. We pray that He would make clear the depth of His love shown at the cross, where His holy Son suffered for all who believe, and that this love would lead to a true fear of the Lord and a turning away from evil.

We pray also that this man would come to know his true identity in Christ alone, not in sinful relationships or activities, but as a child of God created anew. As the Scriptures say, if anyone confesses with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believes in the heart that God raised Him from the dead, he will be saved, for the word of faith is near. May he learn that virtue and holiness bring the true riches and the true freedom, which can make a person free even in difficult circumstances.

We encourage you to continue to pray with perseverance and to trust that God is able to set men above dangers and to plant in them the saving doctrine of eternal life, not always by removing trial, but by giving strength to despise sin and to choose life. Keep interceding that he would be separated from what harms his soul and drawn into fellowship with those who will point him to Christ and to a life of purity and obedience according to God's design for marriage and for holiness.

Heavenly Father, we bring this man before You. Have mercy upon him, open his eyes, grant him repentance, and lead him into sonship through Jesus Christ. Deliver him from evil, guard his life, and cause him to walk in the light of Your truth. In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.
